Marlin 925r 22lr bolt action rifle. Pre Remington!! This is a 93 serial # gun which makes it 2007. The last year before Marlin was bought out by Remington. It comes with a 10rd nickle plated Marlin magazine. No scope or bipod included. The rifle is in great condition. No rust or corrosion, it have some light marks on the stock but no major scratches or scars. With cci standard ammo at 50m, I'm hitting 0.5" groups. Under 1" at 100m. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages.
