We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our Barrhead Branch team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various Customers in Barrhead and surrounding areas while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate a 5-ton body job. and load and unload freight from customer locations and on and off trailers by forklift and palette jack. After 4 months we offer a benefit package. Duties • Safely operate trucks and other heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. • Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment when necessary. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. • Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. • Proven experience in commercial driving, Hold a valid Class 5 license with air brakes, class 3 or class 1 preferably. • Must provide a Clean Commercial Drivers abstract; valid within the past 30 days • Minimum 3 years driving experience • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. • Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records. Our Service Technicians are responsible for product installation, field support and maintenance, equipment repair, customer property management and equipment rentals. Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following: -High School Diploma. -1 to 3 years of industry related experience preferred. -Will consider and train those who have mechanical abilities and aptitude. -Knowledge of wellhead products and energy industry an asset. -Previous thermal wellhead experience an asset. -Stream-Flo and competitor product knowledge an asset. -Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 driver’s license; must be able to provide a current driver’s abstract. -Folding Boom Truck Crane – 22 tonnes and under ticketed crane, CraneSafe or equivalent certification an asset. -H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid and CSO Training an asset. -Service oriented with strong customer service and problem solving skills. -Strong work ethic and a demonstrated commitment to safety. -Self-motivated, able to work independently without direct supervision and as part of a team, sound judgement and decision-making skills. -Willingness to travel.
