The rifle remains untouched, still in its original factory condition, with the exception of being removed from the box for photos and to wrap the lever loop. Includes manual, hammer extension, sticker, and lock. Also available is a new Hughes Precision muzzle brake for an additional $50.

It comes with an XS Scout (Picatinny) Lever Rail w/ integrated ghost ring iron sight (adjustable). This rifle has an upgraded Ranger Point Precision (RPP) stainless medium-loop lever (paracord-wrapped in grey). Also included is a matching grey sling. A hammer extention has also been installed. It is in great condition, with a few marks from normal usage.

Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1886 in 45-70. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in 1896, 24" barrel, button mag (possibly original?). Bluing has been redone in a hot blue and is in very nice shape throughout with only light flaws here and there. Wood stocks have been refinished as well and are in good shape. Bore shows pits and wear but is in shootable shape. Comes topped with a set of iron sights which don't look to be original. A nice shooter grade rifle. Looking for $1895 shipped. I have a very good condition vintage Winchester 1885 in .45 70 that I'm prepared to sell. It started out as a .38-55 and was sleeved to .22 l.r.. I had the 28 inch, half octagon, half round heavy barrel bored and rechambered by Ron K. Smith in Alberta to .45 70 and an aperture sight installed. As you would expect with an RKS barrel, it is accurate. It has correct walnut stocks, refinished, with the heavy crescent butt plate. The action wall has been reduced on the right side to more easily eject spent .22 l.r. shells; Mr. Smith assured me this does not reduce the strength of the action. The lever/trigger guard has been modified to make levering faster. I've got $2800 invested in this rifle which I'd like to recover. I'll split actual shipping costs with the buyer.
