Wood stock is also in very nice shape, very few blemishes to note. Bore is excellent. Comes topped with a set of 1" rings. Has its original rear sight, front sight is no longer present. Selling/trading a Remington 11-87 Premier 12 gauge. Overall it's in very nice shape. 28" barrel, 3" chamber, takes screw in chokes. Bluing is in very nice shape throughout, some light freckling in a few spots if anything. Wood stocks also show well, has a crack along the back of the forestock that was repaired and looks to be holding well. Bore is in nice shape. The current choke in it seems to be stuck in place. Used Remington 121 Fieldmaster in 22 S/L/LR. I did test fire the rifle and everything worked as expected. It still groups well and will make a great shooter. The bluing is in good condition as well as the wood on the pump. The stock has seen better days and has several dings and scratches. I would say the rifling is fair. It has some wear but no visible pitting inside the barrel.

This is a Rare Antique Remington Early Production Type I, A.K.A. The Double Derringer. Remington produced around 150000 model 95’s between 1866 and 1935. There were only around 1600 produced before the addition of an extractor. Making this one the hardest to find for collectors. This type is marked “E.Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” on one side of the barrel rib and “Elliot’s Patent Dec. 12, 1865” on the other. Later models would see the addition of an extractor and the barrel address moved to the top rib. This has a 3” barrel, is chambered in .41 rimfire and has a spur trigger. There are a a few light handling dings and almost no original finish left. The grips are in fine condition. Mechanically it is still very strong with the action working and cycling as it should. The hinges are intact. There is a slight play in the lock up which would be a fraction of a millimeter. These were carried by many people in the Wild West as they were easily concealed. Wild Bill Hickok is said to have carried a pair of these at times. This would make a great addition to a Remington collection and could be the centre piece to any collection. this is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 and able to prove it. Shipping is available at buyers expense. All used firearms should be inspected prior to any form of use. Short term layaway options are available.
