Selling/trading a Winchester Model 69A .22 lr. Overall it's in very nice shape. Bluing is in very nice shape throughout, looks to have been redone at some point and was done very well. Some light fading towards the muzzle. Wood stock was also lightly oiled and in very nice shape  throughout with very few blemishes to note. Comes topped with a period correct Weaver 29S Special scope with side mount and will also come with a set of peep sights (not pictured). Will come with one detachable magazine. -Browning trombone .22 pump with a vintage Weaver G4 fixed power scope -Manufactured in Belgium from 1922-74. -only 150,000 units were sold in 50 years. - low serial number 41290 means the approximate date of manufacturing could be around the 1930’s. -stock is NOT cracked from slam firing! (See pictures) (Always look for stock being cracked where it meets metal. That is typical of these rifles especially older ones. Slam firing is where you hold the trigger down while pumping the action and it fires with each pump.) This one has not been wrecked by slam firing. -shoots s, l and lr. -hamnerless -cross bolt safety -take down version -for its age the wood and blueing are excellent.

Recommended Repair Options: 1.Barrel Relining: A common and often affordable fix for .22 LR rifles is to have the barrel relined, which involves installing a new, smaller-diameter rifled tube inside the existing barrel. 2.Barrel Replacement: In some cases, the barrel may need to be entirely replaced. 3.Counterboring: If the bulge is very close to the muzzle end, a gunsmith might be able to counterbore the barrel (ream out the bulged section from the muzzle) and re-crown it, provided the resulting barrel length is legal and safe.
