Up for grabs is a very collectable IVER JOHNSON 12 GUAGE 2 3/4 inch DOUBLE BARRELLED SHOTGUN. MANUFACTURED IN THE YEARS 1925-1935 in Colberg Ontario. Descibed as fitting into the category of "COACH GUN" the barrel length is 24 inches and is the "HERCULES GRADE" FIREARM. The left barrel is stamped FULL CHOKE and the right barrel is stamped MODIFIED. The unit is in pretty good shape for it's age. The exterior has it's usual "patina". Selling/trading an Eduard Kettner 16 gauge over under. Overall it's in very nice shape. 28" vent rib barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed improved cylinder/modified chokes, with ejectors. Bluing is in nice shape, shows some light fading/marks here or there - nothing too major. Receiver is in very nice shape with ornate scroll work covering it. Forestock has had one small hairline repaired, checkering shows wear. But stock is in nice shape, has more of a gloss finish, normal marks and dings. Bores are very nice. The barrels have a small degree of oxidation next to the chamber. The Damascus finish is still looking nice. One of the hammers is a nice replacement. Somebody carved a dog and a bird on the right side of the stock. The forend is very nice. The stock was probably made with a select piece of wood to be able to curve the stock. Browning 525 SL 32” barrels, adj comb. Beautiful over and under shotgun. Suitable for clays or the field. The gorgeous grey laminated stock makes it very stable so getting it wet is no problem. For the clay field the lamination makes for a very dense stock to soak up recoil. Comes with 4 extended chokes, (inv+) stock key, adj comb wrench, manual and hard case. Browning don't bring these into Canada any more so very rare. When Silver willow brought two in from England they sold within days! Genuine reason for sale.

100 yr old Double-barrel. Fantastic condition fo the age. Butt and fore-end wood are perfect, no scratches or dings, still carrying the original varnish. 30" Barrels, a bit of wear showing, but nothing serious. Original blueing has aged to a decent patina. A couple of small dings on the barrel, due to sitting in a safe for many many years. Shoots beautifully and is a great gun for trap or gamebirds. I would no recommend letting off both barrels at once unless you know how to brace yourself properly. Breech is not fancy, with minor scrollwork. Historically, Fox rates as one of the better non-European shotguns from this era. Would consider trade for pre-1970 Winchester '94 in .30-.30.
