Made in about 1902, a Winchester 1873 lever action rifle in caliber 22 long has a 24 inch barrel, a dark worn bore showing some rifling and has original sights. Works nice as a single shot, inner magazine tube is missing. Metal condition is good with little blue remaining. Stock is very nice with no cracks and original finish. Forend has a crack but is functional. The inner magazine tube is available from time to time but the function as a single shot is perfect.

Used by my father in 1968 and stored and maintained in near mint condition since. HISTORY: These are very rare guns, they were given out as prizes for winning Winchester sponsored clay shoots. The WCT stands for Winchester Clay Tournament and they started in 1968. They were built in the Winchester custom shop and hand fitted and accented with the gold caps and other small options. They have never been offered for sale to the public, but were tournament prizes and given to outstanding dealers and a few other “friends” of Winchester that did special work for them, gun club owners, promo events and field testers, to name a few. Here's a Winchester Model 1886 lever-action repeating rifle chambered in 45-70 Govt., Octagonal barrel manufactured in 1889. Gun was designed by John Browning to handle some of the more powerful cartridges of the period. The chamber, bore and rifling are all in really good shape.

Wood stock is in good shape but does have a few cracks on the underside as well as a repair that was made on the left hand side of the cheek piece. Bore is in very nice shape.
