Austrian M1895 Bayonet for the Steyr Mannlicher M1895 Rifle It has the Steyr Trademark marked on the blade as well as on the scabbard frog guard. OE over WG The opposite side of the blade has the Austrian Imperial Eagle marked on it.  The Frog Guard has both of the above markings. The Release Button works smoothly. The end of the Pommel has the number 7558 stamped on it. The Guard has the number 4233 stamped on it. Believed to have been refurbished by the Bulgarians postwar when a new serial number was added to the Guard. The blade is unsharpened with some small nicks located between 1 ½´and 3 ¼” in front of the guard. Selling/trading an Eduard Kettner 16 gauge over under. Overall it's in very nice shape. 28" vent rib barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed improved cylinder/modified chokes, with ejectors. Bluing is in nice shape, shows some light fading/marks here or there - nothing too major. Receiver is in very nice shape with ornate scroll work covering it. Forestock has had one small hairline repaired, checkering shows wear. But stock is in nice shape, has more of a gloss finish, normal marks and dings. Bores are very nice.
