As the title says. Just got my pal this year and am going to learn to hunt and hopefully in the next couple years fill a freezer with meat. A very well presented Sako III, offered as a complete kit. The barrel is clean and shows good and well defined rifling. The crown is free of any damage or pitting. The finish of the barrel is in matt black and there is some loss around the muzzle. The bolt, bolt way and chamber are all clean. The bolt face is clean and free of any marks. The condition of the bolt handle indicated very little use. The laminate stock is in excellent condition and features sling mounts fore and aft. Hello everyone. I have for sale a Savage 10 Law Enforcement Edition in .308 that has been my go-to hunting rifle for the last 3 years. It has a cheek riser, directional muzzle break, 24 in heavy fluted barrel, 20 MOA rail, long range scope with heavy duty hand lapped rings, 2 proprietary Savage magazines,an extra rubber butt pad to reduce recoil even more, 3 position safety and tactical bolt knob. The stock is with the bedded aluminum chassis for rigidity and precision. The AccuTrigger is adjusted at 2 lb. This is a very very accurate rifle. Here are some bullets tested with a 3 shot group at 100 yards: Sako powerhead blade 162 gr - 0.4 in Herters soft point 150 gr -0.45 in Federal berger hybrid hunter 168 gr - 0.48 in Sellier & Bellot soft point 180 gr - 0.48 in Norma soft point 150 gr - 0.74 in Sako superhammerhead 180 gr - 0.8 in Did load development for it with Barnes TTSX 130 gr and obtained 0.35 in at 100 yards . The scope is a SKW Optics 5x30x56 FFP in 0.5 MIL/click. The scope is high quality and tracks well. It s a 34 mm tube with lots of internal adjustment. It comes with everything already done and researched. You don t have to do anything.The rifle was $900 ,scope was $700 muzzle break $100 ,butt stock pad $40, scope rings $100,scope rings handlapping $50, extra magazine $100,trigger adjustment $50. The rifle is ready to shoot. Doesn't need anything. About 300 rounds through it. Currently sighted at 300 yards. Sold as a package since the scope rings are hand lapped for this rifle. No lowballers. Gun case not sold with the rifle. Willing to ship at owner's expense about $70. Thanks
