This rifle also is stamped LB with  arrows on the  stock & Front band as well as the safety and metal band on the pistol grip underneath the serial number as well as on the mag.  Premium rear site with the ladder. Grooved for Stock for better grip. Also comes with a savage Canadian 1942 marked sling all original. Hello everyone. I have for sale a Savage 10 Law Enforcement Edition in .308 that has been my go-to hunting rifle for the last 3 years. It has a cheek riser, directional muzzle break, 24 in heavy fluted barrel, 20 MOA rail, long range scope with heavy duty hand lapped rings, 2 proprietary Savage magazines,an extra rubber butt pad to reduce recoil even more, 3 position safety and tactical bolt knob. The stock is with the bedded aluminum chassis for rigidity and precision. The AccuTrigger is adjusted at 2 lb. This is a very very accurate rifle. Here are some bullets tested with a 3 shot group at 100 yards: Sako powerhead blade 162 gr - 0.4 in Herters soft point 150 gr -0.45 in Federal berger hybrid hunter 168 gr - 0.48 in Sellier & Bellot soft point 180 gr - 0.48 in Norma soft point 150 gr - 0.74 in Sako superhammerhead 180 gr - 0.8 in Did load development for it with Barnes TTSX 130 gr and obtained 0.35 in at 100 yards . The scope is a SKW Optics 5x30x56 FFP in 0.5 MIL/click. The scope is high quality and tracks well. It s a 34 mm tube with lots of internal adjustment. It comes with everything already done and researched. You don t have to do anything.The rifle was $900 ,scope was $700 muzzle break $100 ,butt stock pad $40, scope rings $100,scope rings handlapping $50, extra magazine $100,trigger adjustment $50. The rifle is ready to shoot. Doesn't need anything. About 300 rounds through it. Currently sighted at 300 yards. Sold as a package since the scope rings are hand lapped for this rifle. No lowballers. Selling/trading a Schultz and Larsen M70 Target single shot .22. Overall it's in good shape. 26" heavy barrel. Bluing is in nice shape, shows some very light freckling if anything. Wood stock has a crack around the top of the wrist which was repaired and seems to be holding well. Has normal marks and scuffs in the finish. Bore is very nice.
