ANTIQUE (no PAL) Remington 1858 New Army .44 Caliber Project Revolver (parts available to fix)
This is a budget friendly fixer upper Remington Model 1858 New Army revolver chambered for .44 caliber - price OBO. This revolver would have been born around the US Civil War, and based on level of wear probably saw use in the battle field before being harvested for parts at some point. Who knows what this revolver has seen in its long and resolute time on earth. Luckily it shows promise to be revived as parts still move freely and are not bound up. All required parts are available online, such as from Dixie Gun Works who accept international orders. Based on putting a cart together total cost would be expected to be below $200 USD, probably working out to about $350 CAD all said and done after shipping. https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index/page/category/category_id/409/name/Remington+M1858+New+Model+Army+and+Navy/ These are a very sought after and collectible model. Functional, a large caliber Remington Revolver in this shape this would generally go for $2000-$3000, with the only other one currently listed at $3800. Honestly I just don't have the time or interest to wait for the parts to show up and repair. My laziness is your gain. By my judgement, this revolver has the following issues: Barrel: loosened 1/16th turn, missing front sight and loading lever catch. Gouge around circumference and a couple dents. Frame: Cylinder pin is undersized (should get a replacement), needs seating lever and trigger guard/trigger guard screw Action: Needs cylinder hand, trigger return spring, and mainspring Overall these parts all appear to be available online from several websites including Positives are that the hammer and trigger move very freely without evidence of rust, and that the cylinder stop, trigger, and hammer interface all seem correct so that with a trigger return spring, mainspring, and cylinder hand all should be able to resume action operation and lockup. Probably a new cylinder pin would be beneficial for this also. The hardwood (walnut) replacement grips are very sturdy and fit well. The rifling is still present and does not look too worn. The frame is in great shape, with an "antiqued" dark grey patina that shows no evidence of active pitting. Overall a promising revolver for repair for an opportunistic buyer to add value. Please feel free to call or message for more details, photos, or videos. Comes with FRT antique report. No PAL, 18+ Ships Canada Check my ads for more antiques! I make no claims about the safety of firing ANY antique revolver. Ask a gunsmith

Photo of ANTIQUE (no PAL) Fantastic Shiny Short 3.5" Barrel .41 Colt 1877 Thunderer Revolver made 1880
$3150
ANTIQUE (no PAL) Fantastic Shiny Short 3.5" Barrel .41 Colt 1877 Thunderer Revolver made 1880
For sale is my a mechanically great, all matching, 1880 production short barrel "Shopkeeper" Colt Thunderer in .41 LC. Selling because cash is tight. As an Antique, this handgun is exempt from Canadian licensing and registration requirements, and can be used anywhere a nonrestricted firearm would be legal. Black powder or light load smokeless .41 Long Colt rounds can be purchased online or worked into deal. The 1877 line of revolvers was Colt's first double action model ever produced. They made almost 170,000 from 1877 to 1909 with three main designations: the Colt "Lightning" in .38 LC, the "Thunderer" in .41 LC, and the "Rainmaker" in .32. However, due to Canada's laws, only the .41 caliber ones are designated as "antique". This is luckily one of those guns, and it needs no registration or licensing to own. These models are highly collectible handguns, particularly the short barrelled "Shopkeeper" model due to its easy to stow nature. Arizona Wild West gunslinger Doc Holiday carried one of these. This particular example, SN 22261, was produced rather early in 1880 and has a short but accurate 3.5" barrel. All parts match, and the exterior retains an excellent 85% of the original nickel. The internal mechanics are incredibly clean and original. The bore is fair with strong defined rifling. Grips are nice like-new repros with rampaging Colt medallions. All hammer clicks are present, lockup is rock solid, and the trigger pull is pleasant in both SA and DA. The barrel is stamped with the Hartford Connecticut Colt address and the acid etched "COLT D.A. 41" is still visible. The left side of the frame displays the 3 line 1871, 1874, and 1875 patents. It reads "41 CAL" on the trigger guard. Can work ammo into deal with PAL No PAL required for revolver Must be 18 Comes with FRT page Ships within Canada Check out my profile for more antique handguns! I make no claims about the safety of firing ANY Antique firearm. Consult with a gunsmith first.

Photo of Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
$5250
Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
*Sold* Parting with my Colt 1878 revolver. She's single and double action, chambered in .476 Eley which is interchangeable with .455 Webley. These revolvers were most commonly chambered in .44-40 Winchester and dubbed the "Frontier Model", with the .476 chambering being very scarce. They were introduced in 1878 as a larger frame, larger caliber twist on the new Colt 1877 Thunderer/Lightning model, filling a niche most similar to the 1873 Single Action Army, but this time in double action as well. Selling to clear up some moolah for car repairs. Pre-1898 Canada legal antique. This revolver was made in 1885. It has the desirable Pall Mall one line address on the barrel reading "COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. DEPOT 14. PALL MALL LONDON" with most words still visible. This address is a rarity and was only put on guns intended for the European markets. Serials match 15xxx, with the last 3 digits stamped on the cylinder. The loading gate is a replacement. This gorgeous revolver has an extremely nice black finish with shiny nickeled highlights on the hammer, trigger, and hammer screw. The visual condition speaks for itself. A stunning piece sure to catch eyes, and assurance that the metal will remain protected. The rifling is still strong and defined, showing some scattered frosting. The grips appear original, and are sturdy with minor holster wear on the high points from time on the hip. The action is great. The internals are shiny in factory condition. The cylinder locks up airtight at firing position. I have never seen an 1878 or 1877 with tighter lockup. In the unique fashion of the 1878 model design, this revolver has no cylinder stop allowing slight backrotation when you disengage the action, but it still generally cycles. The loading gate is a bit wobbly, contributing to backrotation. You can read more here: https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/colt-1878-revolver/ A beautiful collector piece and functional revolver. Don't be a stranger, feel free to call or text if you have any questions. Comes with .455 Webley ammo for $125 if you have PAL. Photo of Sold - Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 32-40 Ref #1043
$1200
Sold - Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 32-40 Ref #1043
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 32-40 Ref #1043 This firearm comes with a Winchester letter indicating it was originally an Octagon barrel, it has however been rebarreled to a round barrel which is marked Model 94. The action is a Model 1894. The butt stock is near perfect, the forend has two hairline cracks that had been professionally repaired at one time, probably when rebarreled. The finish is period correct. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The bluing on barrel, magazine and lever is approximately 75% and the receiver is 20%. Barrel is 26” with a 2/3 magazine, and the muzzle looks excellent. The metal is excellent with no dings, scratches, etc. There is no rust or corrosion evident. A few rub marks on the right side of action. Sights are in excellent condition and period correct. Bore is clean and does not appear to have seen black powder, there is no corrosion, it’s nice and shiney, with rifling in good condition. Screws have been used but are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear. Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin extends out when pushed, The cartridge lifter works well and the ejector is tight. Spring on loading port is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped. Overall, this firearm is graded as a shooter due to being rebarreled, but it is in good condition and a good addition to any collection. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. The firearms and accessories I sell may be new or used and are usually acquired through estate liquidations. There will always be another challenge to take on and we’ll not be afraid to play the game. The history of Chiappa Firearms began in 1958, when Ezechiele (Oscar) Chiappa opened his company and called it Armi Sport. Initially an artisanal workshop, the company has grown over the years to become an industrial group, still wholly owned by the Chiappa family. Chiappa includes the companies Chiappa Firearms S.r.l. (defense, sporting and replica firearms), KIMAR (blank and signal guns), ACP (training systems), Costa S.r.l. (surface treatment of metals) and Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd. (USA’s distribution center). The success story of the Chiappa derives from a combination of factors, among which are a great technical experience matured over 60 years; ability, the courage and entrepreneurial spirit of the President Rino Chiappa, and the total dedication to work of the whole Chiappa family. These capabilities have lead Chiappa to a series of winning choices, focusing on technological advancement, on understanding and meeting the needs of the market while constantly introducing new models, but also offering accuracy and continued support to customers. All stages of production are carried out entirely within the company. The manufacturing process begins with the design of the 3D model, followed by the realization of prototypes and the transfer of data to CNC machines. Through specific CAM software, the machining equipment is able to produce any component in a very short time taking instructions directly from the 3D drawings. Order and organization are common to all factory departments: the workshop with numerical control machines (CNC) for the processing of components machined from solid steel such as receivers and breeches, or for the realization of all types of stocks and other small parts; manufacturing of barrels; die casting and molding of plastic material; ovens and equipment for heat treatment; surface treatment, such as bluing, parkerizing, nickel plating, as well as equipment for grinding and polishing of metal and wood components. The entire manufacturing process is managed and coordinated by a computer system that encompasses all steps of production. This system allows for a thorough control of the execution time, thus keeping production costs tightly monitored. Finally, all firearms are visually inspected and test fired in the shooting range built inside the company before being brought to the packaging area. Thanks to the experience of the personnel, the tradition of artisan craftsmanship cohabits with a modern organization within the same factory, fostering maximum efficiency. Chiappa manufactures a wide range of models. The catalog includes replicas of American historic weapons and muzzleloaders, lever action shotguns and rifles, handguns and rifles in .17 and .22 rimfire, sporting and self defense handguns such as the famous Rhino, signal guns and air guns. As a direct result of the optimization of the manufacturing process, all Chiappa products are an excellent value. Chiappa today is a rapidly developing, constantly evolving corporation. The great capacity to innovate with flexibility and dynamism, the wide range of products and the excellent value for the consumer have allowed Chiappa to spread sales in 60 countries, being fully able to compete with the biggest companies in the world.
