De Lisle Paratroopers Carbine reproduction for sale. Originally De Lisle Carabine was designed for use by special operations forces, primarily the British Commando Brigades.  The majority of De Lisle Carbines (500) were intended to be produced with their original fixed SMLE butt-stocks. However, 50 were earmarked for a folding ‘para’ stock. The sole surviving example of a folding stock De Lisle Carbine resides today at the Small Arms School Corps collection at Warminster, UK. This reproduction is made to be as historically accurate a copy as possible but exactly according with Canadian Law.  It is a 7.62 x 25 caliber based on the Mark 3 model . It has a long 19" barrel that passes through 2" casing. No plastic parts were used. Only test rounds through the barrel.  It is the only ONE reproduction with folding stock in Canada, and possibly in all North America. The carbine functions well and is a pleasure to shoot.  The price is $3199 plus actual shipping with $100 insurance. Additional insurance is available at the buyer's request and expense. Selling an excellent hunting rifle. I’ve recently stopped hunting, which is the only reason for the sale. Rifle is built in an MDT HNT26 chassis (short action, ARCA rail, folding stock). Action is a Borden Alpine Magnum (right bolt, right port) with a 20 MOA rail. Barrel is a Krieger 26” 1:7.5 twist chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Equipped with an adjustable TriggerTech Diamond trigger and an Insite Arms muzzle brake. Barrel has a very low round count (approximately 200 rounds) and has been used exclusively for hunting. In 9.5/10 excellent original condition. No cracks,gouges or damage at all to the stocks or metal. Normal finish wear at the wrist and fore stock,very minimal. 23” Bofors Heavy Barrel,drop floor magazine and fold down rear sight.with factory Sako scope rings. Blueing is 98% and still looks amazing for a 65 yr old rifle. These were made back in the day in Finland with the best quality Bofor steel and walnut wood,and are laser accurate.
