12 ga. double barrel side by side shotgun. Made by G [George] Bate a famous English gunmaker from Birmingham England. double triggers. double exposed hammers. 2.5 inch chambers. all the metal parts of the firearm are covered with delicate intricate engraving. the barrels appear to be Damascus steel. There is no serial number from the manufacturer. There is a serial number sticker from the Canadian Firearms Registry on the side of the receiver from when the firearm was registered under the now defunct long gun registry. all old firearms records for this gunmaker were destroyed in the 1940's when the factory was bombed in WWII. The gun was made between the 1890's and the 1920's. G Bate Maker, changed its name to G Bate Ltd in the 1920's. in the 1990's the name was changed to Bate & Cross [Gunmaker] Ltd. it has been well cared for. there is no rust and no pitting. the wooden stock has some scratches and dents but is not cracked. it has not been fire for many decades.

Browning 525 SL 32” barrels, adj comb. Beautiful over and under shotgun. Suitable for clays or the field. The gorgeous grey laminated stock makes it very stable so getting it wet is no problem. For the clay field the lamination makes for a very dense stock to soak up recoil. Comes with 4 extended chokes, (inv+) stock key, adj comb wrench, manual and hard case. This model has an adjustable comb. It also has a mechanical trigger, with barrel selector, and manual safety. It comes with 2× Invector Plus chokes: M (Browning), IM (Carlson's).
