All numbers appear to be matching, one small piece of hardware is difficult to tell. Steel is all in beautiful shape in a nice bright patina, no real corrosion or pitting to note. Selling/trading a few barrelled actions. These came in with a bulk deal, I do not know the history on them. as follows from top to bottom: 1. Swedish Nitro proofed action, Husqvarna 30-06 barrel. Bluing is in nice shape, shows normal marks and some sort of braze mark on the underside of the barrel. Bore is excellent. Bolt doesn't seem to move forward or back. 3 holes filled on the side of the receiver. Front sight still present and rear base. Bolt is not complete, missing firing pin, safety and cocking mechanism. 2. 1902 Carl Gustaf action, numbers matching barrel assumed to be 6.5x55. Bluing is in nice shape throughout. Front sight present and rear sight base, elevator/ladder is not. Bolt is stuck in place and looks to have a chip out of the rear section. Has a weld on the underside of the action. 3. Swedish Nitro proofed action, Husqvarna 30-06 barrel. Bluing is in nice shape, shows normal marks. Bore is in very nice shape. No bolt. Front sight still present. All the proof marks,and barrel address are clearly legible,all screws are sharp and have not been tampered with. Original blueing can be seen around the saddle ring and on both sides of the receiver and on the barrel and magazine,with an aged plum patina covering the rest of the metal. This is a Tranter Model 1863 Single Action Revolver Chambered in .455 centre fire. The majority of the model 1863’s were a double action with only a few hundred being produced in single action. Approximate serial number range for the single actions are between 4000 to 4500. This item being serial number 4010 would make it one of the first to be made of this model. The single actions were mostly produced in .442 rimfire, it is not known how many were produced in centre fire making this even more rare. This item has a 6-1/2” barrel with Cogswell & Harrison London retailer address engraved into it. Birmingham proof marks can be found on the barrel and frame. The firearm retains around 85% of the original finish. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition with a few very light dings. Mechanically it is in excellent condition and functions as it should. This is a very attractive English revolver that would fit well with any antique collection. this is an antique to no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 or older and able to prove it.
