As the title says. Just got my pal this year and am going to learn to hunt and hopefully in the next couple years fill a freezer with meat. I’ve been plinking with a .22 for the last couple months but now I’m looking for a good (but affordable) bolt action rifle, scope, also looking for advice on hunting in general and gear recommendations. If you have a rifle or scope that’s just sitting around let me know, I’ll take care of it and use it well. Budget is $750. Looking for .308 .30-06 calibre. Located in Calgary but I’d pay for shipping for the right firearm.

This is an intermediate eye relief 1-5 power scope. Red illuminated reticle, SFP, mildot type reticle. Eye relief is about 4” to 8”. A great LPVO or for use on a lever action. Never used on a firearm. Excellent condition, only been looked thru 2 or 3 times.

The CA-15 was designed in part by an ex-Canadian military officer and a professional gun smith for flat top and bolt action precision rifles. It is uniquely a combination of traditional 2" and 3" cantilever scope mounts and is precisely adjustable for ring spacing and placement. It is "four lug" design. It is machined on Vancouver Island from 7075 aluminum and 4140 HTSR steel. Each scope mount undergoes careful assembly and inspection prior to shipping, one mount at a time. Hensoldt Wetzlar Scope with matching Scope Case. Very Scarce Hensoldt Wetzlar 4x28 scope on FAL / L1A1 SLR dust cover. The fence post reticle and glass are bright and clear with no marks. The almost perfect exterior finish is as manufactured with serial number 12-120-9556 embossed. The canvas carrying case has a small wrench plus the microfiber lens cloth under the lid and has very little signs of wear.
