Auto ejector feature works well and lifts upon barrel tilt to eject brass and snaps back in place upon full barrel tilt. Half cock work as it should. Original grips are in good and undamaged. Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. That being said, this action and BLR is as smooth as butter. Package includes: Rifle: Browning BLR 81L – Long Action (7mm Rem Mag). Magazines: Two 3-round detachable box magazines. The 1874's were a nicer revolver compared to the French Service Revolver Model 1873 which it was made after. The action on this piece functions excellent in single and double action. Half and full hammer position work great. Timing and lockup are great with no play at all. Cylinder walls rate very good and clean. Selling/trading an Enfield No. 1 Mk III .303. Overall it's in good shape. Dated 1917, FTR, non numbers matching. Appears to have been a restored sporter, some of the small parts are DP marked (no major parts). Stocks aren't matching, rougher finish which could be lightly refinished and smoothed out. I have 100 never fired .410 shot shells for sale. They are new hulls and I have loaded them according to the Lyman reloading manual 4th edition. I have loaded this recipe for others with excellent results on rabbits and grouse. The crimps are Roll Turnover to ensure smooth loading. They are a mix of number 6 and 7 shot.
