RARE 2 gun set - WINCHESTER MODEL 1200 AND 1400 Clay / Skeet tournament prize guns in sequential order: IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! Used by my father in 1968 and stored and maintained in near mint condition since. HISTORY: These are very rare guns, they were given out as prizes for winning Winchester sponsored clay shoots. The WCT stands for Winchester Clay Tournament and they started in 1968. They were built in the Winchester custom shop and hand fitted and accented with the gold caps and other small options. They have never been offered for sale to the public, but were tournament prizes and given to outstanding dealers and a few other “friends” of Winchester that did special work for them, gun club owners, promo events and field testers, to name a few. This “NO-MOD” steel optic mounting side rail is the perfect accessory for the Type 81 in order to mount optics and accessories. It attaches to the hammer and trigger axis pin holes by the use of threaded axis pins, standard on Type 81 SR and optional as an Optics Ready "OR" model Type 81 SE. This steel side rail is low profile, rock-solid, and parallel to the barrel.
