Winchester Model 1894 38-55 Ref #1040 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1895 Stock is very good – good. Small tang crack 1” long, and a minor chip gone at tang. Forearm has an app. 2” crack and a few very minor cracks. The stock has typical bang marks. Finish appears original or period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact, rear sight may have been replaced at one time, again period correct. Bore has black powder corrosion but it’s clean now and has rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 75-85% throughout. There are bumps and scratches on metal and evidence of minor surface rusting. Screws have been used, but in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Trades in person only. Winchester Model 1895 30-40 Krag Ref #1047 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, round barrel, shotgun style rear stock. Dated 1903. Stock is in good shape, forend has a few chips missing next to metal, the rear stock is excellent, finish is period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 28” long with period sights intact. Bore is nice and clean with minimal to no corrosion, excellent rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 20% throughout. There are very few minor scratches on metal. Screws are mostly unused, one does appear to have seen a screwdriver but is in very good shape. Winchester Model 1894 Ref #1041. Early five digit serial number. Dated 1897. This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1897 Stock is excellent, appears original. A few marks. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact. The read sights are intact and appear original. Bore is very nice, no obvious corrosion, does not appear to have ever seen black powder. Rifling throughout. Bluing is 40-50%. There are bumps and scratches on metal expected on a plus 125-year-old firearm. The drivers side receiver has a few light scratches and bangs. Screws have been used but are still usable. There is one on the loading port side that may have been a replacement. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident and protrudes when pushed on. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower functions correctly.  Overall, I grade this firearm as good and should be fully functional. I have 150 rounds of super rare 25-20 ammunition that I formed from 32-20 cases. They are loaded with 60 grain Hornady soft points, 11.0 grains of Accurate 1680 powder and CCI-400 primers which yields a velocity of 1621 FPS. Reason I’m selling, my Winchester model 92 likes a slightly larger diameter bullet. This load and bullet did shoot really well out of my old Marlin lever gun. Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. That being said, this action and BLR is as smooth as butter. Package includes: Rifle: Browning BLR 81L – Long Action (7mm Rem Mag). Magazines: Two 3-round detachable box magazines.
