Selling/trading a Gewehrfabrik Danzig Sporting Rifle in 8mm Mauser. Overall it's in nice shape. 24" barrel, controlled round feed Mauser action, twin trigger, bolt and receiver are matching. Steel is in good shape, steel has some varnish remnants on it which will come off with some elbow grease. Has decent colour on the steel, normal fading on the receiver and heavier handled parts. Wood stock is in good solid shape, one chip at the heel which was pinned but has some play. Has finish loss on the wood throughout. Bore is in nice shootable shape. Comes with a ramp/post style front sight and a flip up leaf style rear sight. Could use a good going through if anything as it appears to hav east for a while. Mas 45 Israeli Mas 45 (very scarce model) cal 22lr Excellent bore, good stock 1x mag(5 round) PAL and the second ID required (Subject to obtaining a valid reference number from CFP (need your PAL #, DOB, second ID, and email address to validate) No trade/No return Mas 45: In June 1945, French troops took control of the Mauser factory in Obendorf, requesting the production of a .22 LR training carbine with a magazine. The Mauser engineers, utilizing existing parts in stock, developed prototypes in October 1945. These prototypes incorporated a combination of the single-shot Mauser KKW mechanism and the magazine/magazine well of the Mauser Model 37 (also known as Mm 510). Between December 1945 and the end of June 1946, approximately 10,000 to 15,000 "Mauser 45" units were manufactured. While some were crafted from existing KKW components (with the distinctive Mauser 45 stock), the majority were newly produced. Under Soviet pressure, the French were compelled to dismantle the factory in Oberndorf, relocating parts to St-Etienne. The production of Mauser/MAS, utilizing German parts in France, likely commenced towards the conclusion of 1947. These bear serial numbers prefixed with an “F” up until the end of production, with an estimated 3,000 units produced. Post-serial number F 3000/F 3100, carbines were entirely fashioned from French components, and the Mauser marking ceased. By the end of production in 1965 or slightly later, serial numbers had advanced to F 33000. In the early 1950s, A limited quantity of Mas 45 units was dispatched to Israel in response to the Israeli military's request for troop training purposes.

Howdy Townpost. I have a really interesting piece for you here. This is a conversion of a conversion rifle. This is a German made Ludwig Loewe Gew 88 that was later converted by the Germans into a Gew 88/05 and most likely given to the Ottomans in WWI as war aid. Many of these were retained and later converted in the 1930's to a Mauser 1935 pattern type rifle. They converted a large portion of their arsenal to this pattern including SMLE's a plethora of their different Mausers, and Gew 88's they had in inventory. This rifle was rebarreled to shoot the modern 8mm Mauser cartridge and re-stocked into a more Mauser-esq stock. This stock features Mauser bolt disassembly disks despite them not being required for the Gew 88 action. The stock on this particular example had a fairly large wood defect that the Turks neglected to address has been fixed. It was cleaned out and filled with Brownells Acraglas epoxy so it's rock solid now. The overall condition is good. The stock was professionally refinished. The bore is excellent, very sharp and clean rifling. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for pickup or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. PAL will be verified as per C-71

This is a correct WW Suhler Consortium M98 rifle. It is my opinion this rifle was reworked by the German military for use in WWII given the original WWII German armorers replacement. It is in original condition with all parts visible numbers matching. No import mark is present. Triggergaurd is unnumnered however it shows an Imperial H woth crown on the magazine floorplate. The magazine follower is an original German armorer Wafdenampt stamped replacement part. Buttplate is correctly unnumbered. Rating Definition: Excellent. Rifle retains 90-95 % crisp original finish. Stock: The walnut stock is correct and serialized 4473 to the rifle in good condition with a crack on the front left side between the upper barrel band and rear barrel band. Note: Stock pictures in listing show what looks like a crack in the mid area of the buttstock however there is no evidence of this on either the pistol grip side of the buttplate side where the stock is cracked whatsoever. Additional pics can be taken to show this. I hypothesize that this is perhaps a shrinkage in the wood due to rifles age. Rifle shows typical handling marks. No evidence of sanding. Bore: Bore is good with very pronounced lands and grooves visible. Rifle shows a great crown and has a smooth chamber. Mechanically sound, the rifle is in excellent condition. The action functions as it should.

Czech K98k in 8x57 Manufactured after WWII at Brno factory.The L serial block id makes it 1946-1947. All numbers matching except the safety and cocking piece were numbered when factory was reusing some old parts. Matching number laminated stock. This is the K98k that was the predecessor to VZ24. It has the typical rampant lion crest. Turned-down bolt handle. Very clean example. Excellent shape. No rust. Value is $1600-$1900 condition depending. This one is very clean in excellent+ condition.
