For sale is a Winchester model 55 Nickel steel take down chambered in .30 W.C.F. Serial number 1047350. 24" barrel. The gun is in good shape for its age.The barrel and rifling are clean and good. Smooth lever action. The is a hairline crack in the stock and a little blemishing to the wood in fore grip. It comes with a little peep sight. See pictures for markings and condition. The model 55 was made between 1924-1932 and is a relativity rare rifle with only 20,500 made. From what i can tell this models serial number dates it to 1927/28 If you have any questions or would like more pictures feel free to call, text or email!

This 20 inch carbine features, a gold plated and engraved receiver as well as gold plated barrel bands. The beautiful walnut stock also has round tacks installed as was customary with the original 1866 Winchesters that Indians called “yellow boy” This rifle is unfired and an excellent condition. Selling/trading a Marlin 30 AS 30-30. Overall it's in good shape. JM stamped, 20" barrel. Bluing shows well on the majority of the rifle with the exception of the right hand side of the receiver where it looks like moisture sat on it and took of the finish, has lightly freckled as seen in pictures. Wood stocks are in nice shape, some light finish loss and handling marks throughout and one fairly decent rub on the left side of the forestock. Bore is excellent. Comes topped with a Tasco 3-9x40 scope with 1" Weaver rings. Front sight is present, rear sight is not. Looking for $950 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades.
