Two drilled and tapped holes on right side of receiver with corresponding notch removed on stock, presumably from once attached rear peep sight. Handling and storage marks on wood and metal. CFP/RCMP courtesy of Bill C-71 require any firearm to have a transfer registration number approved by the CFT to sell, give or transfer as of MAY 18, 2022. Howdy Townpost. I have here a nicely restored Cooey Model 82. I got the gun as an oil stained and sporterized target .22. It's had the stock nicely refinished in a satin urethane finish done in the fashion to mimic an old oil finished stock. The stock has a pretty nice grain pattern on the underside of it (pictured). The bore is excellent. The stock had a chunk out of it to accomodate a Lyman peep-sight and the receiver was drilled and tapped for it as well. That has all been repaired (pictured) and is hardly noticeable now. There was a hairline crack near the middle barrel band that was filled too. It probably wasn't necessary to fill especially on a .22 , but hey she's been filled. It has all the C-broad arrow markings present. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. PAL will be verified as per C-71.
