Savage 99 in 300 Savage takedown lever action rifle circa 1927. Exterior blue was rated at 10% with brownish finish on the rest of the metal (I would have though higher but its the way a 1920s Savage 99 ages. Bore about Good to very good with some wear around the throat. Honest wear in a good solid hunting rifle. Very slight crack back of the tang of the butt stock (I had to actually look for it again) which is common to these rifles. Here you have a good too very good condition overall Lee Enfield jungle carbine. Appears to have had armoury repairs to the for Stock at one point in time. However, this rifle functions exactly how it should. Whether or not you were looking for something to collect or something to shoot you will have no issues with this rifle whatsoever.
