This started out as an LSA Sht LE MK111 showing 1907 as the year of manufacture -  I believe the first year the  MK111 was put into military service. It was then converted to a single shot 410 shot gun in 1934 at the Rifle factory Ishapore in India, where it was also restocked into a full Indian Rosewood wood set. This shotgun is matching bolt, receiver, barrel and wood although the nose cap is blank. All other parts look to be original to either it's 1907 manufacture or it's 1934 conversion.  it's in exceptional condition with only minor scratches and a few marks/chips out of the wood and one armory repair to the butt stock.  I have only fired this shotgun once in all the years i've owned it - it will fire modern 410 cartridges. This is a very nice collectors piece, at nearly 120 years old and 92 years since being converted to a shotgun, it's still one of the best original condition  Lee Enfield's I've ever seen ..... and I've bought and sold many.  The price is firm, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell.

Sharps & Hankins "No. 3 C" Four-Barrel Pepperbox, .32 Caliber Rim Fire , SCARCE This one is a Sharps & Hankins four-barrel pepperbox classified as a "Model 3C". It is characterized by the button-type barrel release and ejector mounted between the barrels. It is chambered for the .32 rim fire cartridge. The gun is in excellent condition, with original blue intact and the case colors on the frame. The markings are sharp and clear. This is a unique variant with a floating, internal firing pin which rotates a quarter turn with each cocking of the hammer and these are rarely encountered. The 4 bores are good with strong rifling all the way. The black gutta percha grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 5822, excellent overall. Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. In 1862, Christian Sharps formed "Sharps & Hankins", in partnership with William Hankins, who had sold his own plant to William Uhlinger. Howdy Townpost. I've a neat old single shot 12 gauge made by Savage. It has a nice and light tenite stock that was sanded at one point to give it a matte finish. The shotgun is very tight and not off the face at all. The gun is very light and handy sitting 5.73lbs. It has a 12 gauge 2 3/4in, 28in full choke barrel. The patent number is molded into the plastic stock interestingly enough. The black paint on the trigger guard is flaking of a little. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs.
