Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition. Rifle and scope complete set up. The rifle is a Sako 85 Hunter. It has a beautiful walnut stock with cheek piece. (More pictures on request). Great caliber for North America hunting.
