This is a really nice excellent condition 22 rifle. Made sometime between 1947-49. So pretty rare. Tube feed bolt action that can hold 20 rounds of long rifle! Stock has been refinished. Majority of the bluing is still there. Comes with a side scope mount that is the weaver base. This rifle is built like a tank and super accurate with that peep sight setup. For sale or trade is a leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 Rifle Scope. The scope originally had a firedot reticle but has had a illuminated TMOA reticle installed by Leupold service center here in canada. The scope is in very good condition with a few very minor scuffs from being hunted with.  It features a 3-15 zoom range, 44mm objective bell size, 30 mm tube, CDS-ZL2 elevation turret, side parallax adjustment, and a custom Illuminated TMOA reticle. Savage 99 in 300 Savage takedown lever action rifle circa 1927. Exterior blue was rated at 10% with brownish finish on the rest of the metal (I would have though higher but its the way a 1920s Savage 99 ages. Bore about Good to very good with some wear around the throat. Honest wear in a good solid hunting rifle. Very slight crack back of the tang of the butt stock (I had to actually look for it again) which is common to these rifles.
