Photo of 1993 Browning BLR 81L Long Action – Mint condition – 7mm Rem. Mag.
$2200
1993 Browning BLR 81L Long Action – Mint condition – 7mm Rem. Mag.
Looking to part with my beautiful Browning BLR 81L Long Action in 7mm Rem Mag. Serial # trace sets it as manufactured in 1993. Heavy steel receiver and made in Japan. You may find the odd minor blemish here and there on the stock if you look really, really hard. But the stock and bluing is near perfect top to bottom. Slight discoloration on the side of the bolt as shown in the photos. I bought this rifle at a gun show a couple years back and don't know who the first owners were. I had plans of topping it with an optic but have not purchased one for it (just the bases). I have put 38 rounds down range over the past 4 years with the irons. Always cleaned and lightly oiled after each use. It is hard to believe this rifle is 33 years old. I just don't love the lever action as much as I thought I would, and I'm looking to change to a bolt action in a different caliber for my future intentions. That being said, this action and BLR is as smooth as butter. Package includes: Rifle: Browning BLR 81L – Long Action (7mm Rem Mag). Magazines: Two 3-round detachable box magazines. One is open box but unused. I bought it as an extra, and one came with the rifle. (these are expensive to buy separately, usually $130-150 each–made in Japan). Bases: Warne Maxima Steel 2-piece bases (installed and specific to the rounded steel BLR receiver). Sling: Browning branded paracord/padded sling. Maintenance: Hoppe’s 9 BoreSnake Viper (7mm specific) Ammo: 42 rounds – 37x154gr Hornady Interlock SP and 5x175gr Rem. Core Lokt SP and storage case. 1xAllen cable lock with two keys Whole package is $2200. Serious offers only please. Lowball offers will not be considered. Local sale preferred but can ship on buyer's dime. I am up and down Vancouver Island regularly and can meet at your local range or somewhere comfortable. PAL verification required. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or if you'd like more photos. Thanks for looking!

Photo of SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K11 M1911 CARBINE 7.5mm X 55mm 1931 Manufacture
$1400
SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K11 M1911 CARBINE 7.5mm X 55mm 1931 Manufacture
SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN K11 MODEL: 1911 Action CARBINE CALIBER: 7.5 X 55, COMES WITH MAGAZINE, BORE IS VERY GOOD, SHINY. MADE IN 1931, VISIBLE NUMBERS MATCH. BLADE FRONT SIGHT WITH EARS, ADJUSTABLE U NOTCHED REAR SIGHT, BROWN POLYMER BOLT KNOBS, SILVER BOLT. TWO PIECE FULL MILITARY WOOD STOCKS, FINGER GROOVED FOREND, PISTOL GRIP, SMOOTH STEEL BUTT PLATE, SWIVELS WITH METAL HOOK FROM SLING ON ONE OF THEM, STACKING HOOK, BAYONET LUG. METAL FINISH SHOWS SOME NORMAL SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW SOME NORMAL SMALL MARKS, SCRATCHES AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 23.25" CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. Excellent Overall Condition An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles were made with excellent craftsmanship, and were exceptionally accurate. As Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars, remaining rifles are typically in far better condition than other European rifles of the time. Photo of WWI German GEW M98 MAUSER RIFLE manufactured by V. CHR. SCHILLING SUHL 1916 1916 Gew M98 V.
$1200
WWI German GEW M98 MAUSER RIFLE manufactured by V. CHR. SCHILLING SUHL 1916 1916 Gew M98 V.
This is a correct WW Suhler Consortium M98 rifle. It is my opinion this rifle was reworked by the German military for use in WWII given the original WWII German armorers replacement. It is in original condition with all parts visible numbers matching. No import mark is present. Triggergaurd is unnumnered however it shows an Imperial H woth crown on the magazine floorplate. The magazine follower is an original German armorer Wafdenampt stamped replacement part. Buttplate is correctly unnumbered. Rating Definition: Excellent. Rifle retains 90-95 % crisp original finish. Stock: The walnut stock is correct and serialized 4473 to the rifle in good condition with a crack on the front left side between the upper barrel band and rear barrel band. Note: Stock pictures in listing show what looks like a crack in the mid area of the buttstock however there is no evidence of this on either the pistol grip side of the buttplate side where the stock is cracked whatsoever. Additional pics can be taken to show this. I hypothesize that this is perhaps a shrinkage in the wood due to rifles age. Rifle shows typical handling marks. No evidence of sanding. Bore: Bore is good with very pronounced lands and grooves visible. Rifle shows a great crown and has a smooth chamber. Mechanically sound, the rifle is in excellent condition. The action functions as it should.
