For sale is a Marlin Model 1895 SBL lever-action rifle in .45-70 Govt. This model has a grey laminate stock and forend, with polished stainless finish on the metal. It comes with an XS Scout (Picatinny) Lever Rail w/ integrated ghost ring iron sight (adjustable). This rifle has an upgraded Ranger Point Precision (RPP) stainless medium-loop lever (paracord-wrapped in grey). Also included is a matching grey sling. A hammer extention has also been installed. In like new condition Sako A7 synthetic / stainless 7mm-08 Rem. I bought this gun from woman 5 years ago who tried hunting once and didn’t like it, she had 20 rounds through the rifle. I mounted this brand new scope on it, and sighted it in (15-20 rounds ) it’s since been sitting in my gun cabinet and needs to go to fund a new rifle. Selling/trading a Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter 209x50 cal barrel. Overall it's in very nice shape. 26" stainless, fluted. The breach plug does not fully thread in properly as there's a small bulge where the breach plug was turned in too tight. It will need to be looked at by a gunsmith prior to being useable. The bore is in very Ince shape. Has a Weaver rail, no longer has its iron sights. Comes with a wood forend which has a few marks, nothing too major. Also comes with a matching cleaning rod.
