Selling/trading a Sauer Weatherby Europa Mark V in .300 Weatherby Magnum. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in West Germany, 9 lug bolt, 24" barrel. Bluing shows well for its age, starting to lighten up a bit but still has very nice colour to it. Wood stock is also in nice shape, one dent on the left hand side and a few other minor marks here or there - nothing too major. Bore is very nice. Using the same principle as electroplating, this system uses a low voltage and chemicals to remove the lead or copper from your barrel and plate it on the sacrificial anode (stainless steel rod) that you insert in the barrel. It did work in my 243 win 1885 but I just don't shoot enough to make it worthwhile. I think if you had some heavily fouled barrels, maybe a cache of military surplus for example this would be alot less work that scrubbing forever. Comes with the controller, the chemicals, the stainless steel rod and the electrochemical isolation doo-dads. Not sure about shipping as the rods are 30" long and there are two chemicals. For sale is a Winchester 1873 Sporter Grade 3 in 45 Colt. 24" barrel. It has Pedersoli sem buckhorn rear sights and a Pedersoli front bead. She is in excellent condition other than some very fine scratches in the left side receiver plate that you can only see if you turn it in to the light just so. Really nice gun, but I had it set up for a 100 yard silhouette gun, but came across a rolling block in 45 Colt I use for it now.
