For sale 12 gauge 2-3/4" chamber Stevens (Savage Arms Company, Chicopee Falls Chicopee, MA 01020 USA) pump actions shotgun model 77C ( same as Savage model 30, Springfield model 67), comes with 27"/28" plain (not vented rib) fixed full choke barrel, comes with original wood plug. Note these guns are also found in brand names of Savage, Springfield and Fox. These were made 1954-1971 this particular one was made before 1968. This gun was cold blued after (and poorly done), it has signs of wear and rust so once in a while when you first try to cycle the action it may initial stick slightly, probably needs a good cleaning and oiling, I will include a gun cleaning kit. It now has a front bead sight since pictures were taken. This is a .22 competition target Vickers rifle made in the 1930s, some time between 1934 and 1939. It is a 44 1/2" long, quite heavy beast with the Vickers signature 'relieved' barrel-to-fore stock mounting, apparently to enhance the accuracy. It utilises the narrow, falling block, Martini-type action. The bore is bright and shiney, with crisp rifling. It has competion-type fore and rear sights. Overall it is in good to excellent shape. The only thing of note is that at some point a previous owner drilled a line of holes underneath the forestock, which have been filled. The images give an idea of the overall condition of the rifle.
