I have a Shillen select match barrel in 223 rem, for a savage small/standard shank action. Barrel is a 1:12 twist. Sendero contour (.800") at muzzle and 26" long. I ordered the barrel and have 970 documented rounds through it. Lots of life to go ( thousands of rounds). Very accurate with 40 gr vmax, 53&55 gr noslers, 52 gr Speer, barnes varmint grenade. Have many targets showing 5 shots within .350". Load data available.

Marlin 925r 22lr bolt action rifle. Pre Remington!! This is a 93 serial # gun which makes it 2007. The last year before Marlin was bought out by Remington. It comes with a 10rd nickle plated Marlin magazine. No scope or bipod included. The rifle is in great condition. This one is in excellent condition. The nitre blue on the trigger and hammer is well visible. The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is fine with good rifling. The markings are sharp and defined throughout. Extractor working as it should. The assembly numbers on the cylinder, crane and frame. The original grips are good and undamaged.​​ History & Background This model is an important milestone in Colt handgun development, as it is the first American revolver with a swing-out cylinder mounted on a crane, a development which would become the standard for modern revolvers to this day. The 1889 cylinder mechanism was already "on the books" as early as 1880, based on designs of Colt engineers William Mason, C.J Ehbets and Horace Lord. It would take almost ten years for Colt executives to give the green light to manufacture this gun, and once it was available, the US government quickly took notice and ordered several thousand for the Navy. Colt adopted the name "New Navy" in honor of this order.
