Browning 1885 in 30-06. 28 inch octagonal barrel. Made in 1998. Beautiful walnut with amazing fiddleback. The Browning high gloss finish shows something different at each angle. Never hunted with. Less than 10 shots ever fired. Excellent condition with fantastic wood.  Comes with the Talley base and rings in order to mount a scope. Scope not included. Cost on these parts alone is over $250 and they are hard to find. Does not come with the original box. It will ship in a hard case at no extra cost. The Browning 1885 is a fairly rare gun in general and it is very rare in 30-06. The most common high wall is in 45-70 which is traditional but no longer a proper hunting chambering in a very long barrel rifle given the effective range. For a traditionalist hunter, the 30-06 is a real hunting chambering that will outshoot most men. It is considered a highly accurate and true shooting rifle. PAL will be confirmed.

Selling an excellent hunting rifle. I’ve recently stopped hunting, which is the only reason for the sale. Rifle is built in an MDT HNT26 chassis (short action, ARCA rail, folding stock). Action is a Borden Alpine Magnum (right bolt, right port) with a 20 MOA rail. Barrel is a Krieger 26” 1:7.5 twist chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Equipped with an adjustable TriggerTech Diamond trigger and an Insite Arms muzzle brake. Barrel has a very low round count (approximately 200 rounds) and has been used exclusively for hunting. They are parts compatible with the Benelli. Steel front sights. Rubber pistol grip not plastic. Adjustable rear stock. Steel ghost ring sights. Picatinny rail. Argo dual gas piston system. Rubber butt pad. Uses Benelli/Beretta Mobil choke tubes and comes with 3 plus wrench. This one is in OD green and its barrel is a couple inches longer.
