Hello I'm selling a Arisaka-Carcano Type I Rifle, it is Italian made for the Japanese Imperial Navy for WW2. This is a combination of the Carcano 1891 and a Type 38. It has the action and barrel of a Carcano and it is chambered in 6.5 Jap, has the 2 piece stock, 5 round internal magazine, and the sighting system of the early Type 38. The bolt and receiver has markings from Fabbrica Nazionale d'Armi - Brescia, this is the more uncommon version accounting for roughly only a quarter of production with total estimates from 60k-130k across all factories. Two types of Type I buttstocks were made, the short and long version and this rifle is the long buttstock version. The bolt on the Type I cannot be swapped with a Carcano and vice versa as the Type I bolt has a slightly different location cut for the ejector. The exterior metal has some surface wear and some light surface rust with the buttplate being the most worn. The internals and bore are in good condition with good rifling as shown in the images and the bullet test, the bullet I used was the 6.5 Jap Norma Factory ammo. It is missing the cleaning rod and ejector, luckily the ejector is readily avaliable in parts stores such as Numrich. The rifle has a hidden duffle cut under the front barrel band, the previous owner repaired the duffle cut by putting a small wooden dowel in the cleaning rod hole and glueing the 2 pieces together. The glue has come loose and would need to be re-glued. The rifle shoots well using 0.264 Speer bullet handloads at 25M with all the shots landing well without any keyholeing. Very nice Belgium made Browning 7 rem mag. Made in 1962. Stock is almost flawless, checkering is crisp. Blueing is perfect and the action looks like it’s barely been cycled. Has a period correct Bausch & Lomb 2.5-10 scope on it. This rifle is incredible shape, almost looks unfired. Missing front sight blade and rear sight.

Selling/trading a Gewehrfabrik Danzig Sporting Rifle in 8mm Mauser. Overall it's in nice shape. 24" barrel, controlled round feed Mauser action, twin trigger, bolt and receiver are matching. Steel is in good shape, steel has some varnish remnants on it which will come off with some elbow grease. Has decent colour on the steel, normal fading on the receiver and heavier handled parts. Wood stock is in good solid shape, one chip at the heel which was pinned but has some play. Has finish loss on the wood throughout. Bore is in nice shootable shape. Comes with a ramp/post style front sight and a flip up leaf style rear sight. Could use a good going through if anything as it appears to hav east for a while. Selling as i have less time to shoot rifles and this one deserves to go to someone who will shoot it. I know there is varying reviews on these conversions. My understanding is most (possibly all) were done by century arms and some cycled and some did not. Do your own research please. This one has cycled 125rds of the lake city ammo for me and I don't recall any failures. Both mags did work. Can't guarantee any other ammo as I only tried the one. At the time I acquired this rifle the original scopes were either unavailable or very expensive. I found the vomz played the part. The front is attached with an original ring and a bushing. The back I had to make a scope ring to clamp the back in place. It's machined aluminum painted black. There is just enough room to slide the scope on and off its rail without having to remove the scope from the mount.
