Photo of WW2 1940 Original Canadian WWII P37 canvas holster

WW2 1940 Original Canadian WWII P37 canvas holster
Here is a Canadian/British origin and the C broad arrow marking), and cross-referencing the images (including the faint stamping that reads “Z.L.&T. LTD 1940” along with the C broad arrow symbol), this is an original Canadian WWII Pattern 1937 (P37) web pistol holster. Features •  Khaki/tan heavy cotton canvas construction, typical of British/Commonwealth web gear from the era to save on leather due to wartime shortages. •  Flap closure with brass snap (often called a “lift-the-dot” fastener in some variants). •  Brass or metal belt hanger and loops on the back for attachment to P37 web belts or pistol belts. •  Angled design for right-side hip carry, with a reinforced muzzle end. •  Markings: “Z.L.&T. LTD 1940” refers to the manufacturer Zephyr Looms & Textiles Ltd. (Toronto, Canada), a known WWII contractor for Canadian military gear. The “C broad arrow” (often stylized as C↑ or C with an arrow inside) is the Canadian government property/acceptance mark, indicating it was issued for Canadian forces (part of the British Commonwealth system, where the broad arrow denotes ordnance property, and the “C” specifies Canada). This holster was designed primarily for revolvers like the Webley Mk IV .455 or Enfield No. 2 .38, which were standard for Canadian troops early in WWII. However, similar P37 holsters were also used or adapted for the Canadian-made Inglis Browning Hi-Power 9mm pistol (produced from 1944 onward). Original Canadian WWII P37 canvas holsters in good used condition (like this one, with intact hardware and no major tears) typically sell for $150–$350 on sites like eBay, GunsInternational, or militaria forums/auctions. Factors influencing price include: Rarity of the early 1940 date (pre-U.S. entry into the war, during the British Commonwealth’s initial buildup). Clear markings (the C broad arrow and manufacturer stamp add provenance). Condition: This appears solid but field-used, so more toward the $200–$300 range. Recent comparable sales include similar Z.L.&T. Ltd.-made holsters from 1943–1945 fetching $200–$300. Can ship anywhere in Canada Please see my other ads for collectable military accessories.

Photo of ANTIQUE SHINY .455/.476 Webley WG Army Retailed by Esteemed John Rigby of London

ANTIQUE SHINY .455/.476 Webley WG Army Retailed by Esteemed John Rigby of London
Selling because cash is tight and I have another - don't miss your chance to add this beautiful investment to your collection. This superb Webley WG Army specimen was made by P. Webley & Sons circa 1896 chambered in .476 Eley and .455 Webley, and sold by the famed John Rigby & Co. in London. Established in 1775, John Rigby & Co remains to this day a staple of the fine firearms market. Their role in this piece's history adds even further to collector value. These revolvers were very popular private purchases among sportsmen and higher ranking officers around the turn of the 20th century up through WW1 as reliable, accurate, and elegant handguns. With an impressive 6" barrel and mirror-bore rifling, this is a collector's or target shooter's dream. I can add a box of 50 factory new Fiocchi Heritage .455 Webley rounds with purchase of the revolver if you have a PAL. If you don't want these rounds, take $100 off asking price. As a pre-1898 antique, this can be owned and used without any registration or headaches. Visually this revolver retains most of its original shiny dark blue finish with scattered minor loss from 130 years living. The trigger, hammer, ejector, cylinder release mechanism, and hinge screw have a shiny silver "in the white" finish giving a proud and bold contrast. The original checkered square bottom hardwood grips are solid, showing some minor dings and a tiny chip on the right. Sharply stamped "WG Army Model" on the top strap with calibers ".455/.476" Webley and Eley, and the W&S winged bullet logo on the left of the frame. The barrel is hand etched with the retailer address "JOHN RIGBY & Co. 72 ST JAMES'S St LONDON S.W.". The serial 13XXX places manufacture in the mid-late 1890s and makes this one of the most modern antiques you can get. The bore retains shiny, strong rifling with scarce patches of wear. The action functions excellent in single and double action, leaving nothing to be desired. The cylinder indexes and locks up with almost no wiggle for reliable firing and the timing is excellent. Comes with FRT antique papers and repro leather Webley holster. Can come with box of Fiocchi .455 Webley ammo if you have a PAL. Call any time or local meetup Calgary or Vancouver depending where I am. Ships Canada No PAL, 18+ Check my ads for more antiques! I make no claims about the safety of shooting ANY antique. Check with your gunsmith! (Tags: England, Britain, French, MAS, German, Reichs, American, Canadian, Dominion, .44, .45, .450, .476, ACP, Auto, Boxer, Kynoch, Smith & Wesson, Remington)

Photo of Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
$5250
Antique shiny BLACK BEAUTY Colt 1878 Frontier Revolver in .476/.455 Webley
*Sold* Parting with my Colt 1878 revolver. She's single and double action, chambered in .476 Eley which is interchangeable with .455 Webley. These revolvers were most commonly chambered in .44-40 Winchester and dubbed the "Frontier Model", with the .476 chambering being very scarce. They were introduced in 1878 as a larger frame, larger caliber twist on the new Colt 1877 Thunderer/Lightning model, filling a niche most similar to the 1873 Single Action Army, but this time in double action as well. Selling to clear up some moolah for car repairs. Pre-1898 Canada legal antique. This revolver was made in 1885. It has the desirable Pall Mall one line address on the barrel reading "COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. DEPOT 14. PALL MALL LONDON" with most words still visible. This address is a rarity and was only put on guns intended for the European markets. Serials match 15xxx, with the last 3 digits stamped on the cylinder. The loading gate is a replacement. This gorgeous revolver has an extremely nice black finish with shiny nickeled highlights on the hammer, trigger, and hammer screw. The visual condition speaks for itself. A stunning piece sure to catch eyes, and assurance that the metal will remain protected. The rifling is still strong and defined, showing some scattered frosting. The grips appear original, and are sturdy with minor holster wear on the high points from time on the hip. The action is great. The internals are shiny in factory condition. The cylinder locks up airtight at firing position. I have never seen an 1878 or 1877 with tighter lockup. In the unique fashion of the 1878 model design, this revolver has no cylinder stop allowing slight backrotation when you disengage the action, but it still generally cycles. The loading gate is a bit wobbly, contributing to backrotation. You can read more here: https://www.americanrifleman.org/content/colt-1878-revolver/ A beautiful collector piece and functional revolver. Don't be a stranger, feel free to call or text if you have any questions. Comes with .455 Webley ammo for $125 if you have PAL. It operates on a simple blowback action. It is targeted towards beginning shooters, small game hunters, and budget minded plinking. It is one of the most popular plinkers in the United States due to high accuracy, being chambered in cheap, common, and readily available .22 long rifle, and the inexpensive price. It is unusual among semiautomatic 22s, and traditional (non-bullpup) semiautomatic rifles in general, in that it is available in a true left handed version (left handed safety, charging handle and eject -presumably wrong handed twist). Some consider this particularly helpful for new, especially young shooters, as it leaves them free to focus on more important matters to learn. The “64 series” has sold under [combination of manufacturers’ names listed above] [62, 64 and 954] [one or more letters]. It was also sold as Sears Roebuck & Co. Model 6C. Although often unexpressed in speech, as a “64” it is almost always followed by a single series letter. “64” without a letter indicates the first year of manufacturer only. That version had a plastic magazine. It is considered undesirable. It was followed by the 64B. The rifle is in active production, replacement parts are readily available, and there is a high degree of interchangeability between series.
