Howdy Townpost. I've a neat old single shot 12 gauge made by Savage. It has a nice and light tenite stock that was sanded at one point to give it a matte finish. The shotgun is very tight and not off the face at all. The gun is very light and handy sitting 5.73lbs. It has a 12 gauge 2 3/4in, 28in full choke barrel. The patent number is molded into the plastic stock interestingly enough. The black paint on the trigger guard is flaking of a little. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. I have a Model 1908, 12 gauge single shot, Harrington and Richardson arms CO( Worcester.mass.USA made in USA) (12 gauge choke) for sale. This 12 gauge single shot has had the barrel shortened to about 20 inches. Barrel and receiver are in nice condition with little to no scratches shown in pictures. Wood has nice handmade woodburning engravings of two dragons on butstock, forend had wood it ing of dragon eye. Buttstock had been repaired showed in pictures. Selling/trading a Browning Superposed 12 gauge over under. Overall it's in nice shape. This is a pre-war gun made somewhere between 1931 an 1939 (SN 10###). 30" barrels with solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed chokes (not marked), ejectors, single trigger with safety on the tang not operable but a safety on the underside of the trigger that slides forward and back - this was a factory option that many guns were retrofitted with after 1937. Receiver was factory colour case hardened - the vast majority of which has faded but is still present on the underside of the release lever and on the inside of the action when the barrels are removed. Bluing on the barrels show very well with only light spots of fading here and there. Receiver has nice factory scroll work throughout. Straight English style stock. Wood is all in good shape, normal marks here and there. Has a hairline on the left side of the forestock which doesn't appear to be through the wood. The heel of the butt stock has a chunk out of it and a chip in the butt plate in the same spot. Lockup is tight, bores are in nice shape throughout. Overall a very nice shotgun.
