Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1906 pump action .22. Stamped for short, long and long rifle. Made in 1913, barrel shortened to 19". Steel has turned to a dark patina throughout, has some black residue on parts of the barrel. Wood stocks are in good shape, one pin through the wrist which is solid. Bore shows some wear but is in shootable shape. Has iron sights that aren't original to the gun. -Browning trombone .22 pump with a vintage Weaver G4 fixed power scope -Manufactured in Belgium from 1922-74. -only 150,000 units were sold in 50 years. - low serial number 41290 means the approximate date of manufacturing could be around the 1930’s. -stock is NOT cracked from slam firing! (See pictures) (Always look for stock being cracked where it meets metal. That is typical of these rifles especially older ones. Slam firing is where you hold the trigger down while pumping the action and it fires with each pump.) This one has not been wrecked by slam firing. -shoots s, l and lr. -hamnerless -cross bolt safety -take down version -for its age the wood and blueing are excellent.
