Stainless T3 in 300 Win Mag. The radial brake really helps with the recoil but it’s also removable (thread protector included) if you don’t want it on for hunting. Plus it’s bedded in a beautiful laminate thumb hole stock which really straightens things out. It’s a pleasure to shoot which is hard to say about most 300 mags. The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light.
