Selling/trading an Enfield No. 4 Mk I Sporter .303 British. Overall it's in good shape. Dated 1945,  barrel and receiver match. Steel is in good shape, shows some normal aging in the colour and finish. Wood stocks are in good shape as well with normal blemishes for its age. Forestock has tape on it around the barrel as the barrel band is loose without it. Bore is starting to darken but still has decent rifling left. Barrel is full length with original ears and bayonet lug, rear sight is original. Comes with one detachable magazine. Looking for $295 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. I have a Lee Enfield #4 Mark 1 1942 Longbranch .303 British WW2 battle rifle with all matching numbers including bolt stock and reciever!. With a LB spike bayonet 1-10 round magazine and a original sling for sale. Not sporterized and not refurbished!, original WW2 configuration purchased from a seller in Quebec asking $2500 o.b.o. located in Windsor Ontario Canada. And yes it is still a tack driver!. As far as I know everything that I bought is all WW2 parts that came with this rifle and was issued, this thing was there!, where I don't know!. WW2 Canadian history!, unfortunately the Veteran/Hero who was issued this is unknown. I tried to get some info from the seller but to no avail he did not have any further information. Maybe the serial # might add some future light to this relic of a darker time in world history if researched further.

I have a nice clean 1945 Sporter 303 British (S/N U39399) with a brass butt plate, leather sling with swivels, 4 detachable magazines, rifle case, trigger lock, Aimsport 3-9 x 32 scope (made in Japan). Rifle bore shows slight pitting but good crisp rifling, as per bore scope pic. Mechanically, everything works just as it should. Trigger breaks like glass at 4.5 lbs. Comes with everything needed (including ammo shown) to go for your next hunt. This rifle belonged to friend who no longer hunts. He had the rifle for over 40 years. It belonged to his uncle prior to being passed down. Other than that, I don’t know anything else regarding its history. Thanks for looking, text is best for the quickest response.
