For sale is a rare Ruger #1 (No. 1) single-shot falling block rifle chambered in 7×57mm (7mm Mauser). It is the RSI (International) model with 'Mannlicher' (i.e., full) stock. This model has a checkered walnut stock/forend (w/ Ruger's red rocoil pad), and blued metal (action/barrel). It has built-in iron sights, and comes with a set of 1" rings (steel) for mounting a scope. In addition, the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope side-mount. It also has sling swivel studs, and comes with a beautiful leather sling. This rifle has a top-tang safety. It is in excellent condition, with low round count (the bore is shiny with strong rifling). This Ruger #1 was shipped in 1990.

Made in Finland M22000 Valmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single shot bolt action. 27.5" heavy competition barrel. Adjustable butt plate and set trigger. Friction T channel sling slot. Profiled competition heavy stock for right handed use. Bushnell 3-9 x 20 scope with dovetail rails on receiver. Drilled and tapped for rear sight with front sight mount. VKT (Valmet), or the State Rifle Factory became operational September 9, 1928. Since 1930 Valmet's factory rifle club was active as well, having their hand in the design of the Finnish Lion, together with Aimo Lahti, the chief designer. 2. The Finnish Lion has the longest manufacturing time of all Finnish guns, from 1930 to 1979. Models are: M30 (prototype), M31 mod I, mod IIa, IIb, IVb, IVc, M35, M45, M52, M55, M59, M62, M65, M70, M200002 (Finnish Lion Standard) and wild boar version. Heavier models were the Finnish Lion Match and Champion. Two lighter version were also made, Junior and Pikku Leijona (Little Lion). 3. Serial numbers start from #1 (1932), and end into # 14,358 (1979). 4. The bolt and trigger are said to have been ahead of their time. The lock time is fast. Also the barrels were accurate. Champion models should have a set trigger, which makes lock time longer, but reduces pull weight. 5. The windage adjustment of the rear sight was also dispensed with, and the cocking piece was changed from a round knob to a serrated slab. Swiss M1882 Service Revolver, 7.5mm/ 32 S&W Swiss Ordnance The Swiss Service Revolver of 1882 was a modification of the Nagant revolver in use since 1878. It was modified by Swiss Colonel Rudolf Schmidt. It employs the Georges Abati cylinder advance system, by which the cylinder can be advanced without raising the hammer when the loading gate is open. This allows the shooter to load and unload the cylinder quickly, without having to touch the hammer. The gun is of typical Swiss quality, with clock-like precision.​ This one is in very fine condition, as restored. The blue is intact. The markings and numbers are sharp. The serial numbers match. There are also several sub-assembly numbers visible. The action is strong and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is good, with sharp rifling and no signs of use. The gun is chambered for the Swiss 7.5mm cartridge, but will accept a .32 S&W long/short as well. The brown plastic grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 2357, very fine as restored.
