The bore of the 2 1/2 inch barrel is very good and bright with sharp rifling. The grips are very fine and undamaged. SN 13745, excellent overall. ​ History & Background Sullivan Forehand was an employee of Ethan Allen, the famous New England gunmaker. In 1860 he worked in an administrative capacity when he met his future wife - Allen's daughter - at work, and after marrying into the family became a partner in the business. Henry Wadsworth, an officer in the union army, met another of Allen's daughters while still in service during the war, and married into the family as well. Upon his discharge from the army, Wadsworth joined the company which was renamed "Ethan Allen & Co." After Allen's death in 1871, the two sons-in-law took over the firm and renamed it "Forehand & Wadsworth. They would become well known especially for their bulldogs, but also their many fine pocket and large-frame revolvers, single-shot deringers and pistols. Forehand & Wadsworth remained in business until 1890 when Henry Wadsworth retired and Sullivan renamed the company "Forehand Arms". After Sullivan's death in 1898 the company foundered and was taken over by Hopkins & Allen in 1902.

For sale is a Churchill 512 Silver double-barrel, side-by-side 'shorty'. It is a 12 gauge model, with 3" chamber, and 12.5" barrels (w/ fixed cylinder chokes). It has a full length turkish walnut stock. It is one of the shortest non-restricted shotguns on the market (with an OAL over 26"). This model has a barrel selector, and manual safety. This shotgun has less than a box of ammo through it, and is not even fully broken-in (the action is still very tight!). There are a few handling marks. It is a great shotgun for backcounty backpacking!

The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is excellent and bright. The rifling is sharp and uninterrupted. The walnut grips are very good and undamaged, showing no wear. SN G10123, dated 1897. Selling/trading a Browning Double Auto Twelvette 12 gauge semi auto. Overall it's in nice shape. Appears to have been made in the early 50's. 28" barrel, 2 3/4" chamber, fixed modified choke. Bluing on the barrel has faded to a nice patina throughout. Aluminum receiver is in nice shape. Wood stocks show well, has one crack at the wrist that looks to be holding well.
