I have a brand new Sako 85 Finnlight II Rifle, 30-06 SPRG, in a Cerakote Tungsten treated stainless steel action with an elastomer grip/black composite stock. It’s got a 22.4” fluted barrel, adjustable trigger (2-4lbs), 5rd magazine, and adjustable cheekpiece. The lightweight RTM fiberglass stock makes the rifle light to carry and the barrel has been treated with a weather resistant Cerakote® coating, which makes this rifle the perfect choice for all conditions. The fully adjustable cheek piece also makes the rifle perfectly customizable for your preferences. Description Small bore hunting match repeaters of the series 64: This model shares the action and design with the series 1416 and 1516, but with specific stock design and fitted with the acclaimed heavy target barrel. The basis of this model is the sturdy Match 64 barreled action, equipped with a target two-stage trigger with adjustable position and the universal Multi Purpose Beavertail stock. The Beavertail stock is widely different from the traditional European hunting stock. Created from the requirements of varmint hunters from the „New World“ this stock combines the advantages of classic target barrel with the wide and easy to handle Beavertail forend. An integrated accessory rail in the forend rounds the versatility of these models. A very field useable sport/target accuracy level variant with a constantly growing popularity. Barreled Action The action is used in the ANSCHÜTZ Luxus repeaters 1416/1417 and 1516/1517. This is a bolt action with cam cocking, claw extractor, additional cartridge holder and ejector. Telescopic sight mounting is by an 0.43" wide ANSCHÜTZ Wave Style V-block dovetail rail or by additional drilled and tapped holes. The sliding safety catch onthe right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position and simultaneously lifts the trigger sear and bolt release latch. The bolt can also be opened in the safe position, allowing unloading the firearm with the safety engaged. Trigger ANSCHÜTZ target two-stage and single-stage triggers have always set the standard for quality, reliability, and precision. Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 32-40 Ref #1043 This firearm comes with a Winchester letter indicating it was originally an Octagon barrel, it has however been rebarreled to a round barrel which is marked Model 94. The action is a Model 1894. The butt stock is near perfect, the forend has two hairline cracks that had been professionally repaired at one time, probably when rebarreled. The finish is period correct. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The bluing on barrel, magazine and lever is approximately 75% and the receiver is 20%. Barrel is 26” with a 2/3 magazine, and the muzzle looks excellent. The metal is excellent with no dings, scratches, etc. There is no rust or corrosion evident. A few rub marks on the right side of action. Sights are in excellent condition and period correct. Bore is clean and does not appear to have seen black powder, there is no corrosion, it’s nice and shiney, with rifling in good condition. Screws have been used but are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear. Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin extends out when pushed, The cartridge lifter works well and the ejector is tight. Spring on loading port is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped. Overall, this firearm is graded as a shooter due to being rebarreled, but it is in good condition and a good addition to any collection. Only reasonable offers are considered.
