Samozaryadny Karabin Simonova Russian manufactured 7.62×39 caliber carbine. This edition was produced at the Izhevsk factory (arrow in triangle in circle factory symbol) in 1953. They only made these rifles in 1953 & 1954 at the Izhevsk factory. That makes this model version a more rare Russian model as opposed to the SKS's from the Tula factory which produced higher numbers, This rifle is in excellent shape with the rifling in great condition. Maybe a few very minor handling/storage blemishes. I have not fired the rifle and I have no way of confirming its history, but it looks to be in great condition. This is a Budapest M95 steyr (mannlicher) rifle chambered in 8x56r. It is an arsenal force match SN 5988H. Straight pull bolt action, 5rd clip fed (1clip included with rifle). History: prior to WWII the 1895 mannlicher rifles were cut down to carbine length and rechambered from 8x50r black powder to the more powerful 8x56r smokeless cartridge which is indicated by the “S” on the barrel and score line on receiver and barrel. There is a few variations of these rifles most commonly having the “M95” engraved on the receiver with a “steyr” or in this rifle’s case “Budapest”

Easily accommodates 2 rifles ( see photos ) ...... a great metal gun case ( if somewhat heavy construction ) which I purchased to hunt overseas. It has not seen much use ( actually only  1 flight on a hunting trip to New Zealand  carrying both a Malcolm scoped 16 lb., 32" barreled Sharps long range and an a scoped 10 lb. mid range ) , as well as a dozen or so trips by car to various gun shows in North America, at which I used to display various select arms from my Sharps and Remington Rolling Block collection. The sturdily built case weighs about 17.8 lbs. by itself and measures 53 1/2 " x 13 1/4 " x 4 1/2 ". Much as I hate to part with it , at  age 79, it is just too heavy for me to pack into my car's trunk any longer when it is filled with heavy guns. I have tried my best to photograph and show the few dents on both sides of the case. These are now in the $600 plus price range for a new one. YES, both keys still come with it!   I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense, or offer local pick up --- I am also in Red Deer one day per week and can arrange to meet there, or enroute, for delivery.

4 only like new Barska 30mm tube , 2 only in 10-40x-50mm, 2 only in 8-32x-50mm I have found this brand and model to be reliable as I personally have 4 in the 6-24x. I do not use or sell or recommend the cheaper models. Barska seems to be a midline scope manufacturer well above Tasco and Simmons and slightly below the best Bushnell and Nikons. Scopes come from my Dads estate, time to sell. They all have Mil Dot with rheostat illuminated cross hairs, 1/8 moa clicks, parrallax adjustment on mid turret location with exposed turrets , nitrogen purged, 1lb 12oz wieght, at least 4'' eye relief (have 1 of mine on a 300 WM). They where all mounted on rifles with only slight marks on a couple of them. I do not normally use scopes over 24x unless fixed power so i am selling these off for that reason. Will guarantee all sales with money back if scope is defective within 30 days of purchase.

British Pattern 1853 socket bayonet with leather scabbard and a frog This is a British M1853 Socket Bayonet for use with the Enfield, Snider, Martini rifles. This 1853 pattern was the standard bayonet carried by nearly every British infantryman of the mid-19th century and widely used during the Crimean War, Indian Mutiny, and in numerous colonial campaigns. Production of the1853 pattern socket bayonet continued throughout the life of the Enfield Muzzleloader and the Snider rifle and was finally terminated in 1875. The blade has a slight downward curve to allow easier reloading while fixed to the muzzle-loading Enfield rifle. Measuring 44 cm (17 inches), it features a triangular cross-section with fullers on all three sides, tapering to a narrow, down-turned point. Scabbard in good condition and includes a leather frog. The brass tip on the scabbard wiggles a bit but is still solidly attached. The scabbard is stamped W.D. (War Department) below the frog stud with the Broad Arrow symbol above the initials.
