For sale 12 gauge 2-3/4" chamber Stevens (Savage Arms Company, Chicopee Falls Chicopee, MA 01020 USA) pump actions shotgun model 77C ( same as Savage model 30, Springfield model 67), comes with 27"/28" plain (not vented rib) fixed full choke barrel, comes with original wood plug. Note these guns are also found in brand names of Savage, Springfield and Fox. These were made 1954-1971 this particular one was made before 1968. This gun was cold blued after (and poorly done), it has signs of wear and rust so once in a while when you first try to cycle the action it may initial stick slightly, probably needs a good cleaning and oiling, I will include a gun cleaning kit. It now has a front bead sight since pictures were taken. Howdy Townpost. I am selling this Remington 3.5inch Super-Mag that I picked up from BassPro in Calgary. I never got around to shooting it but I got a deal on it so I'm willing to let it go for cheaper than usual. This was a store demo gun, which essentially means it was dry cyled and shown to customers a few times. It's more or less a brand new shotgun. There's hardly any wear on it with the exception of some cosmetic blemishes from some small patches of surface rust that formed on the parkerized receiver. I suspect they never oiled it and peoples hands or just some moisture caused it. I cleaned it off and oiled the whole gun. It's pretty smooth even though it's a new gun and hasn't been broken in. The rubber recoil pad is still nice and soft The date code looks like AJ so it's a 2015 production. It was kicking around BassPro for almost 11 years! These regularly retail for $750+tax but occasionally go on sale for $650+tax. So I think $630 with no tax is not a bad deal for an essentially brand new shotgun. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. PAL will be verified as per C-71.
