Here is a very good overall condition stepped barrel,  hex receiver Sako M24 Mosin from 1924. No rust or pitting anywhere. Stock is also very good with very few marks for its age. Bore is in excellent condition.  I recently took this rifle on trade from another collector. He took very good condition of this particular rifle. Rifle comes with adjustable sling. See pictures matching numbers, barrel and bolt.  Sako, which produced these in the 1920s as part of the Civil Guard’s arsenal. The 1924 date fits perfectly as the start of M/24 production, and the serial number 17266 is consistent with early examples. These were based on captured Russian M1891 actions, often with new barrels (you can see a stepped barrel from the photos), and saw use in WWII during Finland’s conflicts with the Soviet Union (Winter War and Continuation War). Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1895 in 303 Brit. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in 1907, 28" barrel. Steel is in good shape, colour on the receiver has faded to a nice patina, still has some darker colour on the barrel. Wood stocks are in good solid shape with normal bumps and marks here and there. Bore shows some light wear and is starting to darken but is still in shootable shape. Receiver has been drilled for a side mount of some kind, holes exposed was seen in pictures. Up for sale is my Savage 116 Weather Warrior in 30-06. This is the rare and unique "bear hunter" model, which comes with a factory standard adjustable muzzle brake, hinged floorplate magazine, as well as Savage's AccuTrigger and AccuStock. This gun has been my primary hunting rifle for about 10 years now, and has taken multiple whitetails, mule deer, and a moose with one and done shots. Has grouped very well with 165gr Speer boat tails, and 150gr Barnes TSXs. The adjustable muzzle brake greatly reduces recoil and makes sighting in a breeze. Would be great for someone who wants the knockdown power of an 06 with reduced recoil. Shows a few bumps and bruises from being a well loved hunting rifle- primarily in the case of the recoil pad that had started to wear down a bit at the toe. Selling only as I am inherting my Dad's Ruger m77 in the same calibre, and have no need for two 06s. Asking 800 obo for the rifle and DNZ GameReaper scope mount. This is a VZ24 Czech 8mm mauser with the “E lion” crest The receiver has formed a patina finish to it but the crest is deep and all details of the lion is clear. It is a non matching full furniture rifle. Top hand Gaurd is cracked the bands hold it together. Light/normal wear/scratches on stock wood and metal has not been refinished. Front sight is missing the VZ sight Gaurd a common part missing and not to hard to source, front sight is correct with the sight gaurd channel so the fix is easy as sourcing the part and sliding it in the channel. History: sourcing is a bit hard as many documents were lost/destroyed or not maintained during and post WWII. Some information I Did find on the E lion crest was some can be as old as 1935 but most with records dated and started to show up in 1936 they started to disappear in 1939 and many receivers with the Czech lion were required to be scrubbed after Germany absorbed Czechoslovakia during WWII.

Made in Finland M22000 Valmet Jyvaskyla Standard . 22LR Competition single shot bolt action. 27.5" heavy competition barrel. Adjustable butt plate and set trigger. Friction T channel sling slot. Profiled competition heavy stock for right handed use. Bushnell 3-9 x 20 scope with dovetail rails on receiver. Drilled and tapped for rear sight with front sight mount. VKT (Valmet), or the State Rifle Factory became operational September 9, 1928. Since 1930 Valmet's factory rifle club was active as well, having their hand in the design of the Finnish Lion, together with Aimo Lahti, the chief designer. 2. The Finnish Lion has the longest manufacturing time of all Finnish guns, from 1930 to 1979. Models are: M30 (prototype), M31 mod I, mod IIa, IIb, IVb, IVc, M35, M45, M52, M55, M59, M62, M65, M70, M200002 (Finnish Lion Standard) and wild boar version. This started out as an LSA Sht LE MK111 showing 1907 as the year of manufacture -  I believe the first year the  MK111 was put into military service. It was then converted to a single shot 410 shot gun in 1934 at the Rifle factory Ishapore in India, where it was also restocked into a full Indian Rosewood wood set. This shotgun is matching bolt, receiver, barrel and wood although the nose cap is blank. All other parts look to be original to either it's 1907 manufacture or it's 1934 conversion.  it's in exceptional condition with only minor scratches and a few marks/chips out of the wood and one armory repair to the butt stock.  I have only fired this shotgun once in all the years i've owned it - it will fire modern 410 cartridges. This is a very nice collectors piece, at nearly 120 years old and 92 years since being converted to a shotgun, it's still one of the best original condition  Lee Enfield's I've ever seen ..... and I've bought and sold many.  The price is firm, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell.

Selling/trading a Sauer Weatherby Europa Mark V in .300 Weatherby Magnum. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in West Germany, 9 lug bolt, 24" barrel. Bluing shows well for its age, starting to lighten up a bit but still has very nice colour to it. Wood stock is also in nice shape, one dent on the left hand side and a few other minor marks here or there - nothing too major. Bore is very nice. Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.
