1953 manufacturing date (serial# 1988048) on this Winchester model 94 rifle. 30-30 caliber. I have owned this for quite a few years, but I have never fired it myself. It has been a safe queen for me. It has had at least some light usage in its lifetime but has really maintained a very nice condition. The rifling still appears pronounced. The action seems solid. Butt stock requires repair. Barrels exterior shows patina,  inside is like mirrors in near mint shape. All numbers match everywhere and lots of them.
