Mosin Nagant 91/30 7.62x54R Rifle: The Russians modernized their Model 1891 rifle into one of the most successful military arms the world has ever known. Its simple, robust design, accuracy, and awesome reliability served the Soviets well as their main ­battle rifle during WWII. Underappreciated until recently, the Mosin Nagant is one of the hottest collectibles on the market today. This Mosin-Nagant was manufactured IN 1928 at the Russian Izhevsk State Arsenal, and refurbished to a new condition sniper rifle model 1891/30 with PU scope and mount.  Features include calibre 7.62x54R with a 729mm barrel on a sturdy octagonal receiver, hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated out to 2000 meters, cleaning rod, 5-round integral magazine, and includes a new PU scope & mount with leather lens protectors. Matching stamped serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, magazine and pencilled on the scope. Condition is very good, nice bore with sharp rifling, optics are crystal clear, includes scope certificate.  Comes with a Model 1891 bayonet, sling, twin ammo pouch, cleaning rod, oiler, tools and small cleaning kit. This is a nice example of a Mosin. Barrel is in great shape. Grooves look new. Normal wear from a gun that was probably used during WW2. Hammer and sickle stamp still well visible. Fires beautifully and very accurate.
