Want a new optic, and want to buy Canadian? There's a new option for Canadian glass, sort of: Apex Optics is based in Calgary, but its scopes are actually manufactured in Japan. Apex Optics was founded in early 2020 by a group of western shooters from a range of competitive disciplines. Their goal was to create a new optics brand for competition and long-range shooting reflecting their backgrounds (IPSC, Steel Challenge, 3-Gun, Precision Rimfire, Extreme Long Range, etc.). Several of these shooters are well-known in the west's shooting scene, with long history of competition. Apex's first release will be the Rival 4-32x56 mm, which it's been developing for about 18 months. Apex partnered with Japan Optics to actually manufacture the scope, although it's designed here in Canuckistan. The scopes also undergo quality control testing in Japan, and a secondary round of quality control in Calgary. This scope has some unique features due to its design process, including Apex's proprietary CLR competition reticle. This first focal plane reticle is designed for long-range matches where shooters need their scope to handle quick transitions, with top half of the reticle unobstructed. It comes with ranging marks, for scenarios where you can't use electronic rangefinders, and has six-level illuminated main stadia. You can see a full explanation of the CLR reticle design at Apex's website. The scope also comes with elevation turret that features 15 MILs per revolution; windage and elevation adjustments are 0.1 MIL per click. The turrets are not locking, but come with mechanical zero stop and two-turn indicators (future scopes may come with locking turrets). There's a stainless steel pop-up turn indicator. Apex says it has the industry's first see-through integrated and removable throw lever. The new Rival scope has parallax knob indicators for approximate value for 100-, 200-, 500-, and 800-yard distances. There's a proprietary hydrophobic seven-layer multi-coated lens, and other features selected to give Apex's customers top performance. Reloadable ammo is available but sold separately. Tested with smokeless powder. This is conversion to 45 ACP and British .455 Webley ammo. (available for sale online). but still can shoot original 11mm ammo. It is very interesting example of 1873 French Service Revolver that was converted to 45ACP / .455 Webley caliber which was readily available during WW2 and was considerably more powerful than original and hard to find 11mm ammo. This one is in excellent original condition, all the markings are sharp and complete. The serial numbers are repeated on all components: the barrel, cylinder, frame, grips, internal mechanism parts and even the screw heads and escutcheons. Everything matches. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is as perfect and it is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. The action is excellent and accurate and very smooth, the cylinder indexes and locks properly with no play. The walnut grips are excellent and show no damage this one looks like new.   I am downsizing my antique gun and militaria collection to move into a much smaller house with a much smaller gunroom.......offering an original 1880's Mills pattern , woven ammo belt with a rare 1881 Patent Mills/Orndorff brass " OLD RELIABLE " buckle and retainer. The loops hold .40 to .45 caliber rounds and included are twenty .44-90 Sharps bottleneck cartridges. Please view the photos closely as the belt has been well used and has some damaged loops and earlier field repairs.....I have always refrained from doing any repairs or "enhancements" to my original antiques as the wear and tear is a natural part of its history and character. The cartridges are not original but are repro brass which was purchased about 45 years ago and which I loaded with black powder and some very old primers which were purchased about 50 years ago ( used for display purposes only ). The belt and attached buckle were purchased by me in 1967 at an Ohio gun show. The brass buckle has that beautiful patina which only time can create and it does have a few dents from honest wear and tear.....contact me if you interested and need more photos, or different angles, as the website only allows 10 photos. Selling a 1967 Belgian made Browning T-Bolt with a Weaver B6 scope on the Tip-Off mount, canvas sling and original manual. Rifle is in overall good shape with some minor stock damage (base of pistol grip is the worst and is pictured) which I've shown as well as I could, all metal parts are in excellent shape. Scope is in good condition and is sighted in at 25 yards with 40gr ammo. Rifle was purchased in Camrose around 1970 and had one previous owner. Rare 1944 ROF Maltby No4 Mk1*. Yes it is stamped "No4 Mk1*" on the side of the action but it has the regular Mk1 bolt release and not the No1* bolt notch. There is no real documentation how or why it happened but common theory is that in the height of the war, you used what you had, and someone mistakenly produced a few Mk1 actions with a Mk1* stamp. Definitely a collectors rifle, this one is a bit dusty from decades of storage. Looks like it was hardly fired, no wear on the action, clean bolt face, original forearm serialized to the action. Matching serial on the bolt, not the magazine. In its original configuration, paint is chipped off in some areas from handling & storage. Possibly part of the lot that was in storage with the French Police post WW2. Wood is all original to the rifle except the rear handguard, which was cracked & split and the butt stock which had damage. I replaced the handguard with a near identical one and the butt stock is NOS late war William Sykes SL N74 marked. It is the exact 44/45 run of butt stocks, known by their coarse spoke shave finish. Local pickup for Edmonton area in ST Albert. Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense. PAL will be verified.

1000 for just the gun 1600 for the vortex scope and bi-pod. Gun is basically brand new bought about 3 months ago and only put about 50 rounds through it. I did a custom paint job on, super durable but also can be taken off if not desired. Reason for selling is I bought it for coyotes and ran 95 grain bullets through it and it did amazing on them just too much damage for someone who tans the hides. Great gun all around. Comes with one clip and a couple boxes of shells.  Happy to answer any questions about the gun.
