This is an original U.S. military M1916 hip holster designed for the Colt M1911 or M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol, widely issued during World War II (and earlier in WWI). Key Identifying Features •  Embossed “US” in an oval on the flap (standard for U.S. Army-issue holsters). •  Brown leather construction. •  Brass flap stud. •  Belt hook on the reverse. •  Leg tie-down thong (the rawhide or leather lanyard loop at the bottom). This shows honest wear (scuffs, dryness, some cracking, and patina), which is consistent with wartime use rather than a modern reproduction (repros are usually cleaner and often explicitly marked as such). I'm selling my Shilen Select match barrel for a savage small shank action. The barrel is an S7 sendero contour, 26" 1:8 twist, 4 groove with a .274 no turn neck. The barrel has seen exactly 725 rounds through it with slow burning powders, every round is documented and recorded along with load data for each round fired. Lots of barrel life left,This was not a comp barrel, no prolonged strings of fire. It was a deer,coyote gun. Very accurate and liked multiple different bullets. Only reason for selling is I had a new barrel done in 6 Rem AI in an IBI carbon fiber barrel for a lighter weight rig. The barrel new almost $700 plus shipping. It is an easy 1/2" MOA barrel. Asking $330 Firm I also have 100 pieces of Lapua 30-06 brass that have been formed and neck turned with one firing for this barrel, better than any brass you can find for the 6mm Rem. I’ve got a tikka t3x chambered in 6.5 creedmoor with a vortex viper hd 5-25x50 mrad mounted in talley extra low rings. The scope also has a vortex throw lever and a scope coat. Rifle is in perfect condition as well as the scope, I just don’t use it anymore. It shoots very well and I’ve had this rifle out to 1005 yards with good consistency using factory ammo. My reason for selling is I don’t use it much anymore and I’ve got some other projects on the go. It has under 100 rounds through it.
