Christian Sharps (1811-1874) was one of the best-known firearms designers and manufacturers of the 19th century. Although he never achieved the volumes of Colt, S&W and Remington, Christian Sharps was a major supplier of long arms to the Union during the civil war. His carbines are iconic among civil war collectors. Sharps sporting rifles were extremely popular at the time, and still fetch premium prices to this day. Christian Sharps had a rocky and sometimes acrimonious relationship with his managers and partners, and would leave the Hartford firm in 1853, returning to Philadelphia. There, he formed a new company in 1854, called C. Sharps & Co. He manufactured pepperboxes and single-shot pistols, while the Sharps Rifle Co. continued with long arms. In 1862, Christian Sharps formed "Sharps & Hankins", in partnership with William Hankins, who had sold his own plant to William Uhlinger. Sharps & Hankins would continue until 1866, producing their four-barrel pepperboxes, single shot pistols, and military grade long arms in competition with his former company in Hartford. Soon after the war, the partnership was dissolved, and Sharps would go back to his previous name of C. Sharps & Co. He continued to manufacture the four-barrel pepperboxes until 1874, when the firm was dissolved after his death.

Anschutz MPR 64 22LR, EP5 5-25x56 Rifle Scope
Description Small bore hunting match repeaters of the series 64: This model shares the action and design with the series 1416 and 1516, but with specific stock design and fitted with the acclaimed heavy target barrel. The basis of this model is the sturdy Match 64 barreled action, equipped with a target two-stage trigger with adjustable position and the universal Multi Purpose Beavertail stock. The Beavertail stock is widely different from the traditional European hunting stock. Created from the requirements of varmint hunters from the „New World“ this stock combines the advantages of classic target barrel with the wide and easy to handle Beavertail forend. An integrated accessory rail in the forend rounds the versatility of these models. A very field useable sport/target accuracy level variant with a constantly growing popularity. Barreled Action The action is used in the ANSCHÜTZ Luxus repeaters 1416/1417 and 1516/1517. This is a bolt action with cam cocking, claw extractor, additional cartridge holder and ejector. Telescopic sight mounting is by an 0.43" wide ANSCHÜTZ Wave Style V-block dovetail rail or by additional drilled and tapped holes. The sliding safety catch onthe right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position and simultaneously lifts the trigger sear and bolt release latch. The bolt can also be opened in the safe position, allowing unloading the firearm with the safety engaged. Trigger ANSCHÜTZ target two-stage and single-stage triggers have always set the standard for quality, reliability, and precision. It is not without reason that ANSCHÜTZ triggers are known as the best in the world. Many manufacturers offer adapters for integration of this masterpiece of the German gunsmith‘s art into their firearms. The light weight, hardened and finely ground trigger components facilitate fast and consistent trigger release. Barrel • Cylindrical precision match barrel. • Manufactured using an ANSCHÜTZ special process. • Excellent shooting performance. • Recessed muzzle. • Reinforced muzzle with 11 mm wide prism rail for front sight. Sight set This model is delivered without sights. However, the system sleeve and the barrel end are equipped with an 11 mm wide prism rail for attaching a rear sight and front sight tunnel. Stock The lacquered multi-purpose beavertail stock has nothing in common with the classic European hunting stock. The wide, easy-to-use beaver tail fore-end with integrated aluminum profile rail can be quickly and easily added to other accessories such as Handstops can be fitted. The easy-to-grip hallmarking on the handle offers optimal hold even in damp weather. The buttstock with black rubber cap 4709 A is prepared for a clamping piece, which enables cap extensions to be attached. Therefore, this shaft is also ideal for hunting competition shooting. Butt Plate Straight, with guide plate 4709 A-U2/1 and set screws. • Non-slip rubber butt plate 4709A. • Prevents slipping of the butt plate in position. • Stepless hight adjustment. Glock slider lock trigger safety
Siderlock Safety Trigger Kit. Designed to fit Glock Gen 1-4 Models: G17, G17L, G18, G19, G29, G29SF, G20, G20SF, G21, G21SF, G22, G23, G24, G25, G26, G27, G28, G30, G30S, G30SF, G31, G32, G33, G34, G35, G36, G37, G38, G39, G40, G41, G42, G43X, G47, G48. Does Not Fit: Gen 5 Models. Siderlock Safety Trigger's Help Prevent Accidental Discharge!! The Glock pistol has a combination of three automatic safety features (trigger safety, firing pin safety and drop safety), which are sequentially disengaged when the trigger is pulled. The central pivot of the trigger is the first safety mechanism to disengage when the trigger is pulled and therefore the most important. The safety pin of the Siderlock trigger is a precise positioning system and when engaged blocks the movement of the central pivot avoiding an accidental discharge of the weapon. The Siderlock trigger offers the option of keeping the pistol in its original firing configuration simply by not engaging the lock. The Siderlock concept is simple: With a push on the safety pin a sliding pin acts to block or release the movement of the central pivot of the trigger, where by avoiding an accidental discharge when the slide is in the block position, and behaves exactly as the original Glock trigger when in the release position, all the while maintaining the original manufacture specifications. Once the Siderlock trigger is installed on the pistol, firing is accomplished by sliding the safety pin to the left prior to pulling the trigger. Preventing firing is obtained by simply sliding the safety pin to the right (Right hand Shooter assumed). For left-handed shooters, simply remove and invert the safety pin using the tools and instructions provided with the Siderlock trigger. No matter which position the slide is in it never extends beyond the trigger guard, avoiding any accidental contact with the holster ether inserted or withdrawn. Siderlock adheres to the same high manufacturing standards as Glock, using only high quality materials, a simple design and construction process, and therefore is guaranteed for life. Features: Replaces factory trigger. Adds an extra measure of safety. Avoids an accidental discharge. Maintains Glock original specifications, and fits all Glock Gen 1-4 models. Easy installation, includes detailed instructions and images. Ambidextrous and dismantled. High quality materials. Does NOT fit Gen 5 Models. Italian Glisenti Brescia Bodeo Model 1889 10.35mm/.44 Antique Revolver
Howdy Townpost! I've got an Italian jewel for you to take a look at here. This is an Italian Bodeo model 1889. These guns are among my favorite antique revolvers. They are a very simple rugged and easy to maintain and repair Military revolvers with one of the coolest safety/loading systems as part of its design. These revolvers are very well designed, and feature the safety, loading/unloading system called the "Abadie System". This system was designed in Portugal, but many European late 19th century designs incorporated it. This particular example is an 1897 production by Glisenti at Brescia. Glisenti made Bodeos from 1891 to 1906. This is considered a tipo (type) A or an enlisted model. The type A had a folding trigger which was considered safer and was issued to enlisted men and the type B was the officer's model and had a trigger guard. This particular gun is considered a late model because it has an internal hammer block safety, which is dovetailed into the hand (pictured). The early model had a external hammer block safety that was prone to breakage. I've personally seen multiple antique examples with broken external hammer block safeties. So it was a good move from a design standpoint to change. The early models also were finished in the white in a similar manner to the French model 1873 Chamelot-Delvignes were. This example is of course blued like the overwhelming majority of the late models. This revolver is in excellent condition mechanically and has minimal wear overall. The grips are in excellent condition and we're refinished professionally. The chambres and bore are in excellent & minty condition as well. And the bore itself is one of the best I've ever seen on a Bodeo, with clean, sharp and shiny lands and grooves. This revolver chambres the 10.35mm Italian ordinance cartridge. This cartridge is very similar to .44 Russian but has a smaller diameter bullet (.422) and a slightly tapered chambre. I have seen these shot with .44-40 bullets that are .427 in diameter. These revolvers were loaded with smokeless from the get-go in 1890 using ballastite, a smokeless propellant. For an additional fee on top of the price I can have the chambres slightly reamed so that they will accept .44 Russian cartridges. That way you can buy an off-the-shelf ammunition without the need to hand load. However these are quite easy to hand load and source components for. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Photo of ANTIQUE (no PAL) Fantastic Shiny Short 3.5" Barrel .41 Colt 1877 Thunderer Revolver made 1880

ANTIQUE (no PAL) Fantastic Shiny Short 3.5" Barrel .41 Colt 1877 Thunderer Revolver made 1880
For sale is my a mechanically great, all matching, 1880 production short barrel "Shopkeeper" Colt Thunderer in .41 LC. Selling because cash is tight. As an Antique, this handgun is exempt from Canadian licensing and registration requirements, and can be used anywhere a nonrestricted firearm would be legal. Black powder or light load smokeless .41 Long Colt rounds can be purchased online or worked into deal. The 1877 line of revolvers was Colt's first double action model ever produced. They made almost 170,000 from 1877 to 1909 with three main designations: the Colt "Lightning" in .38 LC, the "Thunderer" in .41 LC, and the "Rainmaker" in .32. However, due to Canada's laws, only the .41 caliber ones are designated as "antique". This is luckily one of those guns, and it needs no registration or licensing to own. These models are highly collectible handguns, particularly the short barrelled "Shopkeeper" model due to its easy to stow nature. Arizona Wild West gunslinger Doc Holiday carried one of these. This particular example, SN 22261, was produced rather early in 1880 and has a short but accurate 3.5" barrel. All parts match, and the exterior retains an excellent 85% of the original nickel. The internal mechanics are incredibly clean and original. The bore is fair with strong defined rifling. Grips are nice like-new repros with rampaging Colt medallions. All hammer clicks are present, lockup is rock solid, and the trigger pull is pleasant in both SA and DA. The barrel is stamped with the Hartford Connecticut Colt address and the acid etched "COLT D.A. 41" is still visible. The left side of the frame displays the 3 line 1871, 1874, and 1875 patents. It reads "41 CAL" on the trigger guard. Can work ammo into deal with PAL No PAL required for revolver Must be 18 Comes with FRT page Ships within Canada Check out my profile for more antique handguns! I make no claims about the safety of firing ANY Antique firearm. Consult with a gunsmith first.

Photo of Ultralight Arms Model 20 Rimfire Left Hand

Ultralight Arms Model 20 Rimfire Left Hand
This rifle was purchased and imported by me in 2010. I’m the original owner. This is a left hand bolt action .22lr, magazine fed 5 shot repeater. It has a 24” #3 Douglas barrel,OD green Kevlar stock w/cheekpiece. There are a total of 3-5 shot magazines plus one that needs work to function properly. I’ve ruined enough mags to know better than to try to fix it myself. The barrelled action was a satin finish that’s been Ceracoated. It has a Timney trigger and a Talley picatinny 0 degree rail, also two sets of different height 1” ULA proprietary rings also made by Talley. Includes two EB Rifleman 2.8-9X40 green anodized scopes with P4 reticle and target turrets, a wood M40 style stock that has a pillar bedded action and free floated barrel. The Kevlar stock is full length bedded including the barrel. Speaking of the barrel, it’s a 24” chrome/moly not stainless and it’s 0.660” at the muzzle, so it’s heavier than a standard barrel but it’s not as heavy as a varmint weight barrel. It’s for sale because I’m not going to make good use of it at my age. It’s only going to waste in the gun safe. Once again it is a left hand action. Condition and performance? Condition is Excellent and can it shoot? Absolutely. It’s not picky about ammo. Will shoot most standard velocity well, never tried high velocity and absolutely no Stingers. I believe they’ll cause problems due to the type of chamber. Besides, if you use Stingers you don’t need this type of rifle. If you have any other questions or need more photos, let me know.
