Selling/trading a Husqvarna A.B. in 30-06. Overall it's in very nice shape. 24" barrel. Bluing is in very nice shape throughout with very few notable imperfections. Wood stock is also in very nice shape with only light rubs here or there to note. Bore is excellent. Comes topped with a Weaver 4x32mm scope (please note the front base is missing - I don't have a spare to put on it - this is how it came in). Front sight base present, rear sight is not. I have a very good condition vintage Winchester 1885 in .45 70 that I'm prepared to sell. It started out as a .38-55 and was sleeved to .22 l.r.. I had the 28 inch, half octagon, half round heavy barrel bored and rechambered by Ron K. Smith in Alberta to .45 70 and an aperture sight installed. As you would expect with an RKS barrel, it is accurate. It has correct walnut stocks, refinished, with the heavy crescent butt plate. The action wall has been reduced on the right side to more easily eject spent .22 l.r. shells; Mr. Smith assured me this does not reduce the strength of the action. The lever/trigger guard has been modified to make levering faster. I've got $2800 invested in this rifle which I'd like to recover. I'll split actual shipping costs with the buyer.
