SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN, MODEL: 1896/11 INFANTRY RIFLE, CALIBER: 7.5 X 55, COMES WITH MUZZLE COVER, BORE IS VERY GOOD. VISIBLE NUMBERS MATCH. BARLEY CORN FRONT SIGHT WITH RAMP, ADJUSTABLE U NOTCHED REAR SIGHT, SILVER BOLT WITH RED POLYMER BOLT KNOBS. TWO PIECE FULL MILITARY WOOD STOCKS, FINGER GROOVED FOREND, MILITARY MODIFIED PISTOL GRIP, SMOOTH STEEL BUTT PLATE, SLING SWIVELS, STACKING HOOK, BAYONET LUG. METAL FINISH TURNING SILVER GREY WITH LIGHT PITTING, SCRATCHES, HANDLING MARKS AND WEAR. STOCKS SHOW DINGS, MARKS AND WEAR. ACTION: STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE, BARREL LENGTH: 30.75", CLASS: CANADIAN NON RESTRICTED. The Schmidt–Rubin rifles were a series of Swiss Army service rifles in use between 1889 and 1958. They are distinguished by the straight-pull bolt action invented by Rudolf Schmidt and use Eduard Rubin's GP90 7.5×53.5 and GP11 7.5×55 Schmidt–Rubin rifle cartridge. The Schmidt–Rubin 1896/11 rifle, or the Model 96/11, was a Swiss upgrade to the 89/96 rifles they had, to use the more powerful cartridge adopted as the GP11. The GP11 cartridge operated at a higher chamber pressure, which the 89/96 action could easily handle. The model 89/96 rifles were modernized by changing the three-groove rifled barrel to a new 4-groove type, adding a pistol grip to the stock, changing the magazine to the 6-round type used in the 1900 short rifle, and modernizing the sights. This also streamlined the appearance of the rifles. Because more rifles were needed than were available, the model 1911 rifle, with slight changes, was put into production. Almost all of the 127,000-plus model 89/96 rifles were converted to the 96/11 specifications. An improvement over the original 1889 version of the Schmidt–Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved butt plate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles were made with excellent craftsmanship, and were exceptionally accurate. As Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars, remaining rifles are typically in far better condition than other European rifles of the time. Antique (no PAL) RARE Unwin & Rodgers "NON-XLL" Knife Pistol Handgun with Folding Trigger
Price drop from 3650 Dec 1! This is an incredibly rare antique Unwin & Rodgers NON-XLL folding knife pistol from the mid-1800s, chambered in a 28 caliber rimfire. Based on dimensions it should accept 25 Stevens rimfire. This is a pocket knife to put all Swiss Army knives to shame, packing a big punch with a folding trigger single action handgun. It is a very collectible piece, and hard to come by in this condition. It would have probably been owned or given as a gift to a relatively wealthy businessman as an elegant approach to utility and self defense. In the 1841 Sheffield trade directory, Unwin and Rodgers advertised themselves as “manufacturers of spring knife cutlery, including lancets, scissor knives and pen machines, pistol knives, American and Indian hunting and self-defense knives.” The theory is that the NON*XLL markings, when read aloud, translate into the phrase “Non-excel,” signifying that the Unwin and Rodgers knife pistol had no peers. Read more here: http://www.johnbhenry.com/store/p152/UNWIN_%26_RODGERS_NON-XLL_KNIFE_PISTOL_%281170%29.html As a pre-1898 Antique collectible, this can be owned by anyone over the age of 18 without any registration or paperwork, and can be fired pretty much anywhere a non-restricted gun would be acceptable. This British made knife pistol is in beautiful condition, with the steel in amazing condition on both the blades and the barrel also. It has carved horn grips, a beautiful shiny barrel, and an even sheen on the knives with no rust. Where many old knives have been sharpened and worn down over the decades, the blade profiles are still original and incredibly sharp. The left grip has a small crack where the rivets are, but it is still very stable and solid. It has multiple Birmingham proofs, and is signed on both blades. The trigger and both knives fold and unfold very cleanly. It is about 10 inches long when the knives are opened. The mainspring is very strong, and all functions correctly in the action and ejector. It has a storage compartment for keeping shells, cleaning patches, and spent casings. The blades are in fantastic shape, especially at over 160 years old. No PAL required, 18+ Ships anywhere in Canada I make no claims about the safety of ANY antique firearm. Check with a gunsmith if you have concerns! Check my ads for more awesome antique handguns! Colt M1877 "Thunderer" .41 Long Colt Revolver Double Action "Bulldog" Model $3900
Please text anytime 6476871484. Antique revolver in ready to shoot like new excellent condition ,very smooth action. No PAL needed. Comes with FRT RCMP paperwork. Ammo is available but sold separately. This one is compact concealed carry version of famous Colt M1877 "Thunderer" was made for self defense and fast action. With "bulldog" type short barre and no regular extractor on the side this revolver made for concealed carry and optimised for fast action. The action is strong and crisp, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly, without any play in the cylinder. The bore of the 2 1/2-inch barrel is excellent mirror bright with strong rifling. The black hard rubber grips are very good and undamaged. SN 82458. History & Background The M1877 was Colt's first double action revolver. Colt insisted on inventing their own double action mechanism, partly because there were numerous patents for DA revolvers in effect, which Colt did not want to infringe upon, but also because they trusted their chief engineers William Mason and C.B. Richards to come up with an original design. For this reason, the M1877's action is like a Swiss clock: it is somewhat convoluted and complicated, and it has earned the nickname "the gunsmith's favorite" over time. The gun did enjoy tremendous popularity however, and was manufactured for 32 years, even after Colt had improved the mechanism and simplified it considerably in later years. The M1877 was available in three calibers - .32, .38 and .41, and was originally called "Lightning". Later collectors coined the name "Rainmaker" for the .32 and "Thunderer" for the .41. In Canada, only the .41 caliber gun with serial numbers below 107,000 is considered an antique, as the others are either exempt calibers, or made after January 1, 1898.

Webley Mark1 British Service Navy Revolver .45 ACP/45 Auto/ 455 Webley. $4950
Please text anytime 6476871484. Fully functional antique revolver in ready to shoot like new condition. No PAL required. Comes with 2 moon clips for 45ACP, 1 adapter for .455 Webley and FRT RCMP paperwork. Webley MkI* British Service Revolver Navy .45ACP/45 Auto/ 455 Webley. The this one was checked and tested for smokeless powder by gunsmith and has NP proof mark. This one was professionally modified to accept 45auto rim and .45ACP cartridges on a moon clip and also can be used with original .455 Webley ammo. The gun is in like new condition with everything tight and working like a Swiss clock and plenty of the original blue remaining. The action is accurate strong and very smooth. The cylinder indexes and locks properly without any play. The bore of the 4-inch barrel is good and mirror bright, with sharp rifling. The grips are excellent and undamaged. SN 33645, very fine overall. History & Background Philip Webley & Son began making top break, hinged revolvers as early as 1880, with the Charles Pryse patented design they acquired for use on their Webley-Pryse revolvers. Soon thereafter an improved locking mechanism by Michael Kaufmann produced the Webley-Kaufmann design, followed by Webley's own improved "Government" model, or "WG". It was not until 1887, when the British military hoped to replace the Enfield revolver that the first "Mark" revolver model was introduced. The Mk I was soon followed by the MkII (1894), then III (1897), and eventually as many as six variations were made, between 1887 and 1949. The Webley top break "Mark" revolvers were probably the single most widely used side arm in the world, and were still in service as late as the 1970’s.

41 Swiss Vetterli 10.4X38mm center fire brass cases and customized cast bullets
Feed your old beauty, make her and yourself happy again! Newly made 41 Swiss brass cases from brand new Starline 50 Alaskan brass cases:cut, annealed with AMP annealer, formed using Lee 41 Swiss full length sizing die, trimed with case length 1.525”( Observed that feeding reliably with loaded ammo OAL length between 2.180“-2.220”, so with 0.005'' extra length for possible cast bullet variation, instead of 1.520'', easily trimed off the extra 0.005'' brass if you don't like it ), cleaned off lube then annealed once more, tested to extract and eject reliably. Ready for reloading. 9$ each+shipping , minimum 12 pcs. Have some hard cast bullets cast with customized heeled bullet mold designed by myself (http://accuratemolds.com/bullet_deta...bullet=43-310F) to go with those cases if you desire, all lubed with Alox and sized with .429'' Lee bullet sizer, lubed with Alox again ( tested free of leading, even after more than 100 shots, no leading observed: yes, Vetterli is so fascinating, I did extensively loading test with more than 1000 rounds through my M78 and M69/71 and then designed my own bullet for her and am thinking of designing a paper patch bullet. ) , tested to be working quite well : check those 5-shot and 10-shot groups shot at 40 meters indoor range with 1869/71 Vetterli rifle). Ready for reloading. 0.5$ each+shipping, sorry, 3 bullets per case ordered limited due to limited bullets quantity, no place to cast bullets during winter time, should be able to cast more bullets after winter. With my cast bullets and Lee 41 Swiss full length sizing die sized brass cases, you can hand seat the bullet, then use Lee 41 Swiss seating die with seating stem removed to give the loaded round a very firm and consistent crimp at the first groove from the bottom ( the seater will clear the bullet instead of the case mouth), by feeling that the case mouth brass is crashed a little bit ( it is ok that the bullet might be turned by hand inside the case mouth after crimping, but it would be firmly seated, won't be pulled out by hand),don't go too much, too much crimp might cause the case mouth bumping up too much and you might encounter difficulty to chamber especially with those Vetterlis with tighter chamber. Photo 5 & 6 show that the right one was hand seated before crimping, the left one was properly crimped, and the abovementioned cast bullet. FYI only, use it at your own risk: I found using the recommended charge from the internet of 11 grains of Trail Boss to be around 2200 fps and kicks hard, eventually I reduced the charge to 7 grains of Trail Boss to achieve around 1400 fps, very close to Vetterli designed velocity and very mild and pleasant kicks, no grease cookies, no wads needed. I rendered that the 11 grains of Trail Boss charge was gained from improperly reloaded rounds not using heeled bullets and not getting proper crimp. I did tests with Tripple 7 also, found the data on the internet is way too much also, I got 1900 fps muzzle velocity reducing the charge to 24 grains by weight of Tripple 7, which is only half full of case capacity!I did not go further experimenting with Tripple 7, cause I got very good results with Trail Boss, and I did not enjoy cleaning the bore after every range trip burning Tripple 7.
